*Hello everyone! Sorry that it's been a while. I've been going through a lot with my family. A bunch of 💩 happened lately and on top of that I had 4 months of writers block with this story. Also I would like to dedicate this story to one of my friends (You should check out her Wattpad because is an amazing writer. Her current name is DeansCherryPie) who has encouraged me to continue this story and thoroughly enjoys it. At one point I was debating whether to publish this chapter or not but she told me to do it, so here you go. Hope you enjoy!*
Saturday finally arrived after a tedious week of school and work. I'm getting ready for the night in my room while Bella is hollering at me from the living room couch.
"You see what I do for you? I get you a date and I don't even get a thank you." She says with a smirk on her face.
"You're right," I reply, putting on my sneakers. "Thank you so much for embarrassing Sky by exploiting his sexuality in front of the entire Sturbucks staff and customers. Some of them could have been homophobic and not have come back because of you."
"If anything, our customers doubled because of the drama." I roll my eyes and step into the living room for Bella's outfit approval.
"What do you think?" I ask with a nervous sigh. Bella is very opinionated when it comes to fashion. She always checks what I'm wearing when I go somewhere important or to a special event.
Bella stands from the couch and circles around me. "Change the shirt into the green button-up and you'll be fine."
"Thank you" I say with desperation and rush back in my room to find the shirt.
"And hurry up! He'll be here any minute!" She screams from the living room. I check the time on my phone. 6:55 PM. Almost instantaneously my stomach churns with anxiety. I walk into the living room and Bella immediately put a hand on my shoulder.
"You'll be fine. It's clear he already really likes you. Just give'm the ol' razzle dazzle!"
"I guess," I snicker. "By the way, you have to leave the apartment by nine. My landlord is starting to think I'm letting you sleep here and I'm only paying rent for one person."
She sighs . "This better not be an excuse for you two to have..."
"How long have you known me?!" I say out of shock of the words that WOULD have come out her mouth.
She smiles mischievously and says,"I'm kidding. I'll TRY to be out by nine."
I raise an eyebrow at her and she raises one right back. I shrug my shoulders and give up. I sit down on the leather couch and pull out my phone. 7:00 PM.
Suddenly there's a knock on the door and Bella runs to open it before I can move an inch. Bella opens the door and says,"Hey Sky! You look nice! I just want to set so ground rules:1. He's home by ten 2. If you brake his fragile heart, your going to be the next one broken! Mmk?"
"Bella!" I say pushing her out the door. She's is right: he does look really nice. He's wearing black jeans with a plain white shirt and black leather jacket. His hair was in a bun and he smiles a cheeky smile. I smile back and his face reddens.
"Hey!" I say to break the silence.
"Hi!" Sky almost sings.
"Can y'all leave already? I want to watch The Princess Bride!" Bella urges and winks at me.
"Shall we?" Sky asks, stepping out of the door way and stretching his arm toward the exit. I blush.
"We shall."
We walk down three flights of stairs and exit the apartment complex into the parking lot. Sky leads me to his red, rusty pick-up truck. I hop into the front seat and notice a lump in the back seat covered by a gray blanket. I reach out to uncover it when Sky takes my hand and says,"Uh uh! No peaking!"
