Unexpected

Chapter 1

Moving Day

Today is the day, the day I move. I've been waiting for this day, I just want to see my best friend, Rosa. I haven't seen her in almost 2 years and I miss her. We've known each other since we were in preschool and she's always been there for me.

"Mckenzie sweetie, are you almost done getting packed? We have to leave soon!!" my mom yells hoping I can hear her.

"Yeah mom, just have a few more things and I'll be done!" I said back in a stern but soft voice.

My mom hasn't been that happy to be living here anymore. We've lived here ever since i was born. Thats why she agreed to moving to LA.

I get up and finish packing up everything else I needed, I head downstairs and see my mom with all of her boxes and bags packed, giving me a look.

"Ready to go?" my mom said softly.

"Yup"

While I'm in the car my mom starts playing music, and not the good music, the
music I hate. So I scarf around and find my headphones. I plug them into my phone and go to youtube.
I start watching some videos on random things and the next video that was recommended was "hot tub confessions 2" by the Dolan Twins. I've never heard of them before, so I decided to watch it. As i'm watching i'm realizing, they're hot as heck. But personally one of them is hotter. I think his name is Ethan?
I start watching a little bit more of their videos and they're super funny and cute, they seem like nice guys.

"We're here!" my mom says

"okay" I say back unplugging my headphones and putting them back in my backpack.

I get out of the car and I see our new house. It's really nice and I'm so excited to live here now. Before we lived in Arizona and it was really hot all the time so being in this nice, cool weather is way better then I excepted.
I grab most of my boxes and go into the house. I then find which room I want to be mine and set my boxes and bags down. I go back outside and get the rest of my boxes and put them in my room.
I start unpacking and putting my makeup and all that stuff in my bathroom. My bathroom here is way nicer then my other one and i'm really happy. I went into my moms room and saw her unpacking.

"Oh, Hi sweetie! How do you like your new room?" my mom asks delightfully.

"I love it! It's way better than my old room. How are you liking yours?"

"Great! I th-" my mom gets interrupted when we here the door bell ring.

I walk over to the door and slowly open it. Seeing who was standing right there. "ITS ROSA!!" I scream and give her a big hug. We hugged so hard we fell on the floor. We both started laughing. My mom comes over and gives her a hug.

"I'm hungry." I said making sure they heard me.

"Okay, let's go get something to eat then!" my mom says in a sassy sarcastic voice.

"Okay" Rosa says

     We all hop into my moms car and drive around. Rosa told us about this good place she eats at all the time so we decided to go there.

     We get home and turn the tv on and put on a movie that was playing and we all start talking. Rosa was telling us about a thing going on this weekend called coachella. She wanted me to go with her and so I said yes because I've never heard of it and it sounds fun. It was in 3 days so she wanted to go shopping for outfits tomorrow and the next day. I guess the outfits are a huge part of this.
     After a couple hours of talking Rosa decided to leave. She said she will pick me up tomorrow at 12 to go to the mall.
     I head to my room to get some clothes and go into the bathroom to take a shower. It's been a long, yet fun day and I wanted to relax. I turn the shower on and hop in. I couldn't stop thinking about those twins I watched earlier. Rosa said a lot of famous people go to this "coachella" thing and I was thinking, what if they will be there?
     I get out of the shower and dry my wet hair. I get dressed in my pajamas and put my hair in a towel. I brush my teeth and wipe off any of the makeup I still had on after the shower. I turn the bathroom light off and walk into my room. I get my phone charger and plug it into the wall. Then, I pick up my phone and see the time read 12:30am. Shoot, we got so caught up talking we lost track of time. I need to go to bed, don't want to be tired when we go shopping tomorrow. I turn my light off, get into bed and close my eyes.

That's the end of chapter 1. I had a lot of fun writing it and i'm gonna write chapter 2 right now. i hope you enjoyed and stay tuned for the next chapter !! please vote and comment for me!
