One day, you decided to leave your home town and move to LA. But that same weekend there is a thing going on called coachella. You decide to go and meet these cute twins...
I wake up to my alarm going off. It's 9am and I have to get ready. Today I go shopping at the mall with Mckenzie, I'm really excited. But, I still haven't told her about my sister, Emma. My mom and Emma's dad went to school together and they just started talking about 5 months ago. They started dating a few months after that. I haven't found the right time to tell Mckenzie , I'm just scared that Mckenzie won't like her.
I go into Emma's room and see that she's getting ready in her bathroom.
"Oh, hi Rosa!!" Emma says with a smile
"Hey! I was wondering if you wanted to go to the mall with Mckenzie and I?" I've talked about Mckenzie a lot to Emma and she said she wants to meet her.
"Yes of course. I will finally be able to meet her!" Emma said in a happy tone.
"Okay we are gonna go get her at 12 so be ready by then." I said
"Okay" she says as she starts putting on makeup.
I walk out of her room and go into mine. I get some clothes picked out and I head into my bathroom. My speaker was already on so I connected my phone and start blasting my playlist.

Mckenzie's P.O.V
It's currently 9am and i just woke up to the smell of pancakes. I quickly jump out of bed and go down stairs. My mom is standing there cooking pancakes as she gives me a smile. I jump up and down in excitement, pancakes are my FAVORITE. As I reach the kitchen I grab a plate and start getting pancakes. Then I get the syrup, powdered sugar and the butter. I eat my pancakes and put my plate in the sink.
"Thank you for breakfast mom!" I say while running upstarts.
"You're welcome!" I hear my mom shout and I start to laugh.
Today is the day I go shopping with Mckenzie. Coachella is new for me and I don't really know what to wear or anything so I'm glad Rosa is taking me. First I need to get my outfit. I grab some ripped jeans, a loose white t-shirt and some comfortable heals. I grab a hair tie and put my hair in a cute but messy bun while putting my sunglasses on top of my head.

I go into the bathroom and grab my makeup. Makeup isn't that important to me on days like these so I just put mascara on and curled my eyelashes. After that I put deodorant on following with perfume. On my phone I see it's 11:45am and I have a text from Rosa:
Rosa<3: Hey, are you ready? Just about ready to leave the house to come pick you up.
Me: Yes i'm ready, I'll be waiting on my front porch.
Rosa<3: Okay on my way!
"She's so funny", I put my phone in my back pocket and grab my purse with my money. She didn't really tell me how much money I need so I'm bringing $200. I open the front door and sit down on my front porch. She pulls up and I see an unfamiliar face in the front seat so I hop in the back. I take a look at her and wonder, who is she?
"This is Emma.." Rosa breaks the silence. "My step sister." she completes her sentence while gulping down the air in her throat.
My eyes widen, "Oh hey, I'm Mckenzie!" I say trying not to be awkward.
"Hi Mckenzie, I've heard so much about you! Rosa talks about you all the time. I'm so glad I finally get to meet you!" Emma says with a smile.
"Thanks you too!" I say back.
I'm sitting here confused, confused on my Rosa didn't tell me. I mean, Emma seems like a nice girl and she's really pretty. I'm okay with her. But I'm still confused. Oh well, she'll probably explain to me later. We get to the mall and get out of the car. This mall is way bigger to any mall in Arizona. It's super nice and crowded. Rosa comes up to me with Emma and grabs my hand and starts walking. We pass by a bunch of stores that are super busy. We stop into one store and Rosa starts looking at clothes as well as Emma. I just stand there and look around the store in shock of how big it is.
"Don't just stand there! Look around for clothes lady!" Rosa says to me in a sassy way.
I nod my head and start looking. I'm pretty sure this coachella thing is 3 days so I'm gonna have to find 3 outfits.
