When I got home I was greeted by my grandmother and little sister.

My little sister nearly died 5 years ago when our parents car drove off of the Buckingham Bridge - she was the only survivor and was lucky to be alive. She was only 5 years old when it happened and she lost the use of her legs to be stuck in a wheelchair for the rest of her life.

"Hey, Rowland, do you wanna play cards with me and grams?"

"Not now Scout." I replied to her and continued to walk to my room

My sister had brown hair, like me, and she had freckles on her nose. She wore glasses over her deep blue eyes.

"But we are playing 'go fish'! The one we used to play with mommy and dadd -- "

"I said not now!" I interrupted and stormed to my bedroom.

I sat on my bed and rested my head into my hands and kept my head down for a few minutes. When I finally looked up I glanced over to my wardrobe and got up to walk over to it. I picked up an old photo frame with a photo of my parents in it. It was the only one I had left of them. "You didn't deserve this... no one deserves this." I said quietly to my mom and dad. I felt water in my eyes, I was about to cry.

NO, I smacked the photo away and left my room.

"Good night Rowland!" My Grandmother shouted to me from across the hall.

"You too." I said quietly unsure if she heard me.

I took off my black jeans and my white tee shirt and put them on my bed frame. I then climbed into my bed.

Another shitty day. I thought to myself.

I suddenly woke up, grabbing my phone I saw that it was 3AM. What?

"Rowland... Rowland." Someone said to me

"Grandmother?" I said. "What the hell are you doing here? Get out I am trying to sleep!"

"I am not your grandmother... Come with me Rowland." The person said, she sounded like a girl.

I rubbed my eyes to see a dark figure at the end of my bed looking at me.

"What? If you are not my grandmother, then who the hell are you?!" I shouted getting angry.

"My name is Alicee." The girl said to me with what looked like a smile on her face.
