The dream that changed my mind

I slowly walk inside and see the ghosts of all my memories here. I know how I always say how much I hate this dump, I still do I always will..but all the memories I will leave behind..it's sad to leave, but I don't want to spend the rest of my miserable life here. I don't know why, but I don't want to leave..it's almost like something is pulling me back. I just can't seem to open my door. I don't want to let Narissa down. She's my only friend, but I don't want to be the one holding her back...I look to my right and Narissa was stood with a bag. I looked at her and began to cry. Tears rolling down my face. She walked up to me and comforted me for awhile. I think she knew what I was about to say...and I did. My dreams have been leading up to this...I'm going to lose a friend...and worse Narissa is my only friend. I looked up at her and saw one lonely tear fall upon her face. Was she crying ?? Narissa has never cried before. She always tells me that crying is stupid...

Narissa: It's ok Clarissa...I know what your going to say...

Clarissa: (Crying) N..Narissa..I'm s..sorry...I..c..c.ant...

Narissa: It's ok...I understand...and I'm sorry..

Clarissa: Go without me...I don't want to be the one holding you back

Narissa: I'm not leaving you..we made a promise to be friends forever...

Clarissa: We still can be...we always will be friends...best friends..you know why..??

Narissa: Why ??

Clarissa: Becuase I'll be always right here (gently rests her hands against her heart) and you will always be in my heart...

Narissa: Clarissa...you my best friend....I'll miss you so much...(crying)

Clarissa: (Crying) I though crying was stupid..??

Narissa: Not (crying) in this case...

Clarissa: Don't worry...(crying)...I'll see you very soon...

Narissa: Promise

Clarissa: Promise...I'll miss you...goodbye

Narissa: Goodbye for now (hugs) Don't let those stupid girls get to you...

Clarissa: I (crying) I won't...

Narissa: I need to ask something before I leave

Clarissa: Sure

Narissa: Did you know about this...?? Was this in one of your dreams ??

Clarissa: (nods) I knew something like this was going to happen for a month...but I didn't say anything to you cause I didn't want to worry you...I'm..

I look down then look back up. Narissa had disappeared...she'd just vanished. I searched the whole of my room. I ran outside and looked for hours. I even asked the girls who just laughed and walked away. I run back outside. I sit under the old willow tree and look around. I began to cry again. Narissa just left me...I was in the middle of talking to her...Where is she ?? Why did she go just like that ??..I began shouting for Narissa...but nothing. She really had left, but I couldn't believe it...I didn't even get to say sorry to her...All the promises I made just to let you down. Narissa believed in me, but I'm broken...I thought that if she left I would be fine...but I'm not...She was my only friend...my only friend..and she's gone. I heard the wind. The wind whispered to me "I'll always be here...always" Narissa....it was Narissa..She hadn't gone...She is still here "I will always return....I'll see all the sunsets...and I'll swim in every river, but one thing...I will always return" I lay down and look up at the night sky. I smile a little and fall asleep.

Narissa: SOMEONE HELP...MY FRIEND...WHY IS NO ONE LISTENING TO ME...AM I INVISABLE ??

Clarissa: Narissa...it's ok...I'm fine leave me..

Clarissa: Narissa....please...I'm not gonna make it..save yourself...

Narissa: No...I won't...NEVER...I'll stay with you...I'll stay until...(crying) the end...

Narissa stayed with me and held my hand...I saw the tears rolling down her face...was this the end....I look over to Narissa...then I look up at the night sky. I see white fill the sky. This is it...but I'm not sad...never..I've had a great life...I had finally found the place where I belong...and I'm happy. My grip loosens and Narissa begins to cry again.

Clarissa: Narissa...I'm going this is it..but don't be sad...my life has been great...it's all clear to me...I know who you are...I know why other people can't see you...the voices told me..finally..I know the truth about you...

Narissa: What do you mean ??

Clarissa: The reason why you came to me...is that your...my...

I suddenly shot up. Am I going to die...is this where my life is headed..Who is Narissa...?? Why did I have to wake up...I always wake up when something important is happening...I don't believe this...I can't die...I should have left with her....why am I so stupid ?? NARISSA I'M SORRY.....COME BACK TO ME..PLEASE...I NEED YOU...SOMETHING BAD IS GOING TO HAPPEN..PLEASE...PLEASE COME BACK...I stand up and run around screaming for Narissa...no answer..I start breathing heavily. I fall to the floor and start choking. I close my eyes and a tear slowly falls upon my cheek. I feel someone pick me up and carry me away..after that...darkness I couldn't see...I couldn't hear...I couldn't feel...I was lifeless....I didn't have a clue as what was happening..This all happened because of a Drem that changed my Mind...
