Looking through my eyes

Let me go...

I woke up and Koen wasn't there. I thought he might of just gone to get something to eat. I waited awhile. I wasn't really sure where he had gone. I got up and started to look for him. He was nowhere to be seen. I walked back into the room we slept in and picked up my things. I wasn't going to stop looking for Narissa just because one guy had gone missing. I walled outside and a gust of wind hit me. I fell back. I got back on my feet and trudged forward. I had some money and drink to keep me going for awhile. As I was walking a flash of light hit my eyes and I had a weird vision. My mind took over my body and lead me to an old manor house. It looked dark and scary, but I didn't care. As soon as I walking inside I heard faint crying. Crying of a little girl. I followed the voice. It lead me to what it looked like a little girls room. I heard the crying...then I heard laughing. I slowly turned around and there was a little girl with long dark hair stood behind me.

????: Have you come to play ??

Clarissa: That depends on what play means...what is your name ??

April: I'm April...who are you ??

Clarissa: Nice to meet you April. I'm Clarissa

April: Hi Clarissa...please play with me...I'm all alone...

Clarissa: What is it you wish to play ?

April: Hide and Seek...

Clarissa: Ok...I'll count you go hide.

April: You won't find me...

Clarissa: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 , 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 ready or not here I come...where are you ?? I'm going to find you...

April: You'll never find me...

Clarissa: I'm following your voice

April: (giggles) I'm over here...

Clarissa: There you are !!!

I pulled open the door and she was there. Hiding under a sheet. I pulled back the sheet. But it wasn't her at all. I screamed and lay down. There was the rotting corpse of Koen...how could this be. I was just with him and this body looks like it has been dead for years. I lay down and cry. April walks through the door and sits next to me.

April: You found my brother...

Clarissa: What did you say ?? (Crying)

April: My brother left me...all alone...he said he'd be back...but he never did return...

Clarissa: How long has he been like this ??

April: 4 Years....there was a fire and Mummy was trapped upstairs. Brother went after her to save her. He promised he'd be back. Mummy came downstairs...but no brother...After the fire ended...Brother was nowhere to be found. Mummy left me alone. I finally found brother and I have never left him...but brother left me..

Clarissa: What's his name ??

April: Koen...his name was Koen..

Clarissa: This can't be...how can this happen ??

April: What's wrong ??

Clarissa: April...your brother...I saw him...yesterday...he was with me...this can't be...he can't be dead...

April: Yes he can....I'm not alive..

Clarissa: Yes you are....I can see you...your healthy...

April: You only see me cause you want to...

Clarissa: But Koen...

I look down at the rotting corpse then look up. Koen was stood there looking down at his body. He came over to me and hugged me

Koen: I'm sorry....I'm so sorry Clarissa..

Clarissa: Koen....how...how can this be ??

Koen: I'm sorry....I love you Clarissa...but I have to go...

Clarissa: What why ?? No don't leave me

Koen: My sister needs me...

Clarissa: Koen....I love you...please don't leave

Koen: I already did...I'm dead..you can only see me cause you want to...

Clarissa: Koen...please...(crying)

Koen: You have to let me go...

Clarissa: Koen....I...I love you...

I lean in and kiss him. The kiss went on for what seemed like forever...it felt like the whole world had just stopped and it was just me and him. We broke the kiss and he whispered in my ear "Thanks for looking after my little sister" I took a step back and I saw Koen and April. They gave each other and hug and smiled at me...

April: Thank you Clarissa...you gave me back my brother...

Koen: Don't worry Clarissa...I'll see you again...when the sun reaches its lowest point...I'll see you...but for now...goodbye...

They disappear...I'm left alone again...What did Koen mean ?? "I'll see you again...when the sun reaches its lowest point" I can't give up now....I'm still looking for my answer...who is Narissa and why was I given this gift..?? If it's the last thing I'll do...that question will be answered...I look back down at the rotting body. Koen has really gone...the only person that I will ever love has gone...I felt my eyes fill with tears. I try to hold them back, but I couldn't. I felt the tears rolling down my cheek. I then remembered the kiss we shared...the most amazing moment...I smiled at the thought and stood up...I wiped my tears away and walked out the manor. I can't give up...never...I made a promise to me and Narissa that I will find my answer...I have to...I have to know...
