2. The Scheme

Jayden pov:

Tony never trusts me with anything. What could possibly be holding him back from letting me use the suit. Peter and I are the same age so why does he get more trust when he's only been here for a month. It's not fair and I'm going to change the rules around here even if it means going behind the avengers back. I'm going to steal those suit samples and make them my own. I just have to make Peter feel like I'm on his side. It's time for a change.

Tony's pov:

The real reason why I don't let Jayden have the suit or ever get to close to my lab is because there's something about him I just don't trust. He's always been very reserved but not just that I feel like he's hiding something. That's why I act protective around him because I feel if I let him out once he will somehow set off in disaster and the only time I would face him again would be to kill him.

Peters pov:

Jayden hasn't talked all that much on our way to get the samples. I tried to make conversation but he just seems to ignore every question so I decided to just stay quiet until Jayden finally spoke

" Peter look I'm sorry I caused you to loose your suit I'll try and convince Tony to give it back" Jayden said casually.

What did I just hear?
There is no way Jayden would ever be sorry for that........ somethings wrong here and I'm going to find out what he's hiding.
" oh ok thanks" I responded trying to sound casual trying not to make to big of a deal out of it because hey if i can get the suit back I'll take it.

Jayden pov:

   We finally made it. Peter and I made our way into the building looking for Cap. My plan is to get Peter side tracked and grab one of the samples and leave the rest for Tony.

   " hey Cap Tony sent us down to get the samples" I start to say.

" oh h yeah of course there down in the basement on the left laying out you shouldn't miss them" Cap informed.

" ok thanks and you can stay here Peter ill go get them" I quickly inform Peter.

" oh ok you sure" Peter questions with a look of concern.

" yeah for course " i insure him.

This can't mess up or I'm screwed. I quickly head down to the basement and spot the samples and grab one of them to put in my backpack and hold the rest. As I spot Peter and Cap again Peter only gives me a look of confusion. He might know I'm up to something. I got to start being more careful around him.

" alright I got them let's go" i inform.

" wait a second those aren't Tony's samples those are still in work and our very dangerous " Cap informed.

" oh they aren't" I question awkwardly.

" Nope but this is why you never send a kid to do a mans job...... I'll go get the real samples and here I'll take those" Cap jokes ruffling my hair and taking the samples I grabbed. At least I still have one hopefully it will still work. I wonder who made the sample I have if it wasn't Tony.

Peters pov:

Something is up with Jayden he's been acting strange. It's just not like him to be so kind to me. So he wants to help you get your suit back and he wanted to go alone to get the suit samples. Wait I think I got it he didn't need my suit anymore because he is planning on taking one of the new samples. Yeah I know I'm a little late on figuring that out but hey I have the mind of a 15 year old. I feel bad for Jayden so I'll let him take the suit but just won't let it go to far so now most of my missions will be me spying on him but it's worth it as long as it doesn't go to far.
