I decided to write a bit more to this, inspired by a storm the UK had after a really hot day today. Hope you enjoy it!

It'd been a heatwave today. Almost 31 degrees but it felt much hotter, as though you were walking through the deserts of Egypt. Even drinking ice cold drinks and eating all the ice cream you wanted still wouldn't do anything but give you brain freeze. And even now, with your bedroom windows all open, a sports bra and shorts on, you still sweat, leaking the hot fluid from everywhere on your body. You stared up at the ceiling and sighed. I hate this weather you think as you turn to the clock on your bedside table. 8:49 PM. You sat up, resting an arm on a raised knee as you look out the window smiling gently as the sunset sky, an aroma of oranges and reds mixing together, creating a fiery sky. You decided not to get into pyjamas - you would only melt when you got to bed. Hearing your parents call, you slumped your way down the stairs to see what was the matter. As you suspected they were telling you to gwt to bed. Groaning you made your way back up the stairs and into your room, closing the door behind you. You closed your windows, leaving one slightly openmto let in the tiny breeze that barely exsisted in the scorching heat. It wasn't lon til you found your phone and started browsing your social networks. Nothing. You decided to keep scrolling anyway - perhaps you'd fall asleep in the process. Reading through messages you smiled as the cute lines from Roxas made you smile. It hadn't been long since that day at the beach, but you felt as though Roxas was already becoming close. Your eyelids began to get heavy as sleep took over your body but a loud roll of thunder rudely scared away the sleep. Whipping your head to the window your face lit up as a bright flash filled your room with light. A storm?! You thought excitedly as you rushed over to sit by the window. A deeper roll of thunder came round only to be followed by an array of dancing light, cracking through the sky. You watched as it moved from the left to the right, smiling and sighing as the heavens opened and the rain started to pour furiously from the sky. Closing your (e/c) eyes, the sound of the thunder oddly relaxed you, as you rested your arms on the windowsill, resting your head on your arms. Not to mention the cool wind that picked up the leaves from trees in flurries, making them dance in the air. You stayed up, watching the storm, the lightening crackling from left to right, the rain pattering against the window panes. The childish game popped into your head as you started counting elephants in your head between thunder rolls and chuckling softly at the scene of the other children in your neighbourhood, looking out their windows to watch the storm. The road was clear now, no longer any cars quickly rushing away, or people running to get inside. Just the storm. Although looking down again at the road, you couldn't help but catch a silhouette spinning in the rain, happily skipping and laughing. You raised your head, watching as the person, or so you thought, continued dancing until they stopped, looking up to your bedroom window. A smile spread on the person's face, and you noticed the blonde spikes peering from under the drenched hood of the jacket they wore. A smile widened on your own lips as the hood of the person was revoved to reveal the grinning face of Roxas, standing outside your house. He waved a hand, beckoning you to join him in the rain and withering storm. You felt your cheeks burn, but not from the heat. From the blush that dusted your cheeks lightly, making you turn away from him. Your parents had already gone to bed by now and you were fighting with your mind whether or not you should join him. He looked round himself and back up at you which made you sigh and smile as he shrugged, the same stupid smile plastered on his face. You grabbed a pair of old sneakers that were lying on your floor and put them on, quietly but quickly running downstairs and opening the door with your house key. You ran over to Roxas, your (h/c) (h/s) hair becoming drenched as you stood in the rain, bein brought into a hug by Roxas.

"So you decided to join me, (y/n)?" you nodded and smiled, a roll of thunder ringin through your ears as you looked gingerly up to the sky.

"Yeah, but I feel I'm gonna regret it." a crack of lightening made you move sharply towards Roxas, making him laugh and pull you out into the road, skipping happily, singing from the top of his lungs.

"It's raining, it's pouring, the old man is snoring~!" you giggled as he sung the childish rhyme and decided to join in with him, spinning in a circle, dancing and skipping, letting the cold rain soak into your skin.

"He went to bed and bumped his head and couldn't get up in the morning~!" giggling you were pulled down the middle of the road by Roxas as the thunder got louder and hurt your ears. The lightening however was beautiful, almost looking as though it were making a way to another world or dimension. Roxas smiled, and pulled out a camera, aiming it at the sky and timing a perfect shot before he snapped up one of the sky portals. He grinned as you looked over his sboulder at it.

"It's perfect. How do you get a shot so clear?"

"It's all about timing." the blonde replied, aiming the camera back at the sky. "Just find the right moment to press the button.". Another flash of lightening lit up the pitch black sky, although when Roxas pressed the button of his camera, it had already passed. "Damn." he frowned, looking at the picture of dark sky highlighted by a light grey.

"It still looks pretty." you smile, resting your head unknowingly on his shoulder.

"Ya think so?" he asked, looking back at you which made you blush, pulling back your head at the close proximity of his face to yours.

"Yeah." you replied shyly, smiling softly. He smiled back and stepped back, pointing his camera your way and taking a photo. A flash of lightening passed just as he clicked the button, catching it in thw background of the photograph. He looked at the result and looked in shock as he smiled at you smiling, your (e/c) eyes almost glittering in the depths of the dark, your (h/c) hair sticking to your face. And then the flash of lightening, cracking its way through the sky in the back behind you, adding a beautiful contrast of light to the picture.

"This is my favorite." he smiled, looking up to you. You smiled back and sneezed lighly, shivering a little. He noticed you shivering and begun taking off his jacket, trying to put it on you as you refused to leave him without a coat of some sort. But he insisted, finally fitting the jacket on you and smiling. "Come on, lets get back." you nodded and turned.

"Okay." you said, heading back to your house. He took your arm.

"Come back to mine." he said, to you insisting you to go back to his. "Your parents are probably in bed and you don't wanna wake them, do you?" you shook your head. He had a point. Sighing you agreed to goback to his place, finally following him down alleys, stopping for a picture or two of the storm, before continuing on. You reached his home and got in the front door, dripping wet droplets on the hallway floor. Roxas helped you to peel off the soaked jacket and hung it on the coat stand to dry. He motioned towards the stairs, which you took to, running up them quickly only to stop. He pointed you in the direction of his room and smiled as he herded you in, closing the door behind him. The rain was still pouring, pattering against the window panes, and there were still small rolls of thunder followed by little flashes of light.

"Storms are pretty cool huh?" you say, sitting in a chair by his desk, spinning slightly on it.

"Yeah, they are." Roxas replied, sitting on his bed and kicking off his shoes.

"Especially after such a hot day." a smile enlightened your lips as you looked out his window. "It's nice to have cool weather." Roxas chuckled lightly and laid back on his bed, resting his hands behind his head.

"You're not wrong there." you laughed and turned to look at him, finding him drifting to sleep. Jumping from the chair you shook his arm violently, whining slightly.

"Roxas! Don't go to sleep! Where am I supposed to go?!" he sighed and laughed again, moving over to make more room on his bed. He didn't say anything else. You kinda got the hint. But did you want to? Did you really, really want to? You decided against your head saying no, because you knew what you wanted. Getting in the side where Roxas had left space, you smiled, hugging close to his back, before he turned to face you. He kissed your forehead and smiled lightly.

"Goodnight, (y/n)."

"Goodnight, Roxas."
