Chapter 12: His Butler and Rook, However You Please

~December 13~

Finny, Mey-Rin asked both for [Y/n]'s and Hinaichigo's help cleaning up the front yard main entrance to the manor of the fallen dried leaves up. Hinaichigo did more of making a pile and falling in them [Y/n] was giggling at how much she behaving like a child than a fighter of the Rozen Maidens. Finny was swiping the leaves in a new pile as Mey-Rin came over "Hinaichigo sweetie we need you to please put the leaves in the bags Sebastian's gonna have our necks if we aren't done...." Hinaichigo pop out leaves still in her head, "Okay but will you jump in with me? I promise I'll put them away." Mey-Rin couldn't think of doing such a thing when Finny picked her up as he held her over his shoulders. "How about me then? Ready Hinaichigo?"

As if flying her onto the moon over his shoulders she smiled ready and Finny ran and leap up in the air and falling on their backs giggling and laughing as Mey-Rin thought it was so cute. And just as she promised Hinaichigo put the leaves in bags to throw out. Finny was swiping up the reminds when he looked back at the manor. "I wish we could do something." [Y/n] was setting the bags up for them to drag to throw away when Hinaichigo asked what was wrong. Finny pet her head smiling down sadly, "Oh Hinaichigo....well tomorrow is very special for everyone." Mey-Rin sighed nodding yes, "I know it's so sad that the young master won't let us. After all, it only comes once a year." Hinaichigo looked at her asking what was it.

It was before they could explain what it was a voice called out from just arriving at the front, a carriage was riding up the pathway. "Hellloooooo~ I'm here~!!!" A bright cheerful Lizzy was out the window waving as she rode up. However Finny and Mey-Rin were not expecting her to show up, "Lady Elizabeth!?" 

"What's she doing here!?" Hinaichigo waved casually just like [Y/n] as she leaped out before the carriage crashing into [Y/n]'s embrace. Giggling and laughing merrily, "Oh [Y/n] thank goodness your still here! I am so excited Ciel must clearly want you here with him to celebrate!~ Oh and Hinaichigo my cheerful guardian are you taking care of my darling Ciel~?" She picks her up like a little sister Hinaichigo was smiling "Of course he'd be lost without me.~ But What's going on Lizzy?" She didn't even explain as she tugs the two of them inside the manor.

Slamming the door open she cried out happily as Ciel was walking up the staircase, "Cieeelllllllll~!!!" She bolted up after him Ciel just like Mey-Rin and Finny was surprised to see her "Uh...Lizzy?!" Crashing into his arms she spun him around like a girl in love as she set him down as handed him a small box in the palm of his hand. Tied in a red ribbon Ciel looked at the box sighing when Lizzy saw the thing she broke wore as his thumb. She stops him holding his hand, "This ring? Isn't this the one I broke from that day??" Ciel bluntly explains that Sebastian fixes the one she broke "But that's impossible!? I crack it into pieces!?"

She was thinking of her eyes playing tricks on her when Sebastian said his quote "If I couldn't do this much at least-" Quickly cutting him off Ciel finished as if he has heard that one too many times, "Then, what kind of butler would I be...." Not taking offense to that Sebastian bow smiling "Took the words right out of my mouth." Lizzy looked upset about something as she straightens herself up in a disheartened voice. "Oh.....well...that's good then." Ciel was about to ask her why is she so upset all of sudden [Y/n] asked what was in the box, she suddenly snatched it out of his hand. "Oh um.....nothing it's a secret!"

"A...secret....but you just told me to open it....." Lizzy seems to be covering something up when she left just as quickly, everyone watched as she left and everything. That may have been the shortest visit she has ever been in. Hinaichigo spoke worried, "I think Lizzy wanted you to have what was in that box....you think she is okay.....she looked really sad." Facing up at Ciel who just stood there when Sebastian finally filled the two in "Perhaps Lady Elizabeth was here to give you a birthday present. I think she wanted to celebrate with you." [Y/n] blinked at how she was fill in on short news when Hinaichigo floated over "Oh your birthday is tomorrow Geez you gotta tell us something, Ciel. Oh, maybe we should have a party! Maybe that has Finny, Mey-Rin, Bardroy, and Tanka all upset~"
