Chapter 13: His Butler and Rook, Forlorn

A picture was lay on a table that of a loving family, with two children in the middle of each end. Lizzy was on one side and Ciel was on the other. But slowly, it was being burnt away, as the picture became nothing but ashes and the image of that little boy's smile turn to ash with it.

Lizzy's P.O.V

"Ciel.....""Ciel....."

'He disappeared when his family's manor estate was burnt to the ground' Lizzy still was remembering that day that horrible day it happens. Her beloved Ciel disappears on his tenth birthday, she remembers all those nights she spent crying her eyes out and hoping and praying that he will be found and okay.

'Eventually, he did return two years later.'

A carriage was driving up fast at an estate with Lizzy not waiting for it to stop as she ran straight inside to see him again when she found a lonely boy in the garden. At the end looking out at the water in front, Lizzy smiled as it has to be him. Her Ciel, her Ciel was back. But as she closes in on him he turned around slowly seeing how his eyes were dead cold like winter itself. Lizzy felt like she was looking at a stranger!? even though he had a bandage wrap around covering one eye she still couldn't believe that these eyes were the same as the boy she knew before.

'But....after he was found....he stops smiling.....I love him......Ciel.....I love his smile.....but no matter how hard I try. When I try to do something to make him smile.....I only make him get further and further away from me.....how can...I help him.....how can I get his smile back.....'

Her thoughts were weeping as Lizzy sat in a cold jail like a tower as she was sitting there like a doll as she only wanted her Ciel to remember how to smile again.....she just wanted to know that....some part of him....anything at all was still there in him...

When her head fell on one side making a clacking sound she mumbled through the walls. "......Ciel......"

It was just then back at a manor, Sebastian was looking at Ciel telling him reminding him of his painful past, "You lost your parents. Your home. And now.....you stand to lose Lady Elizabeth as well...." Ciel was growing anger as the butler just sat there taunting him finding his efforts funny. "Take that back...right now!!" But playfully asking what he means, "I don't like you taunting me now quit playing games!?" However, his butler dress in black asked him a question of his own, "Master you told me you had some business to take care of. Did it include endangering yourself? Or perhaps to rewrite the past? Do you remember what you said at the Frost fair that your body had been broken then reborn again?"

[Y/n] felt like a third wheel as she just watched them talking to one another when she heard the sound of the organ coming up the stairs she took a step back as she moans "Um....guys....he's coming." They both snap out of their conversation as Ciel moved her to the center protecting her, as the army of dolls came in again hearing the song Drossel was singing in the background. "Wait....don't tell me Hinaichigo....was she defeated!?" 

"I don't think so...I still feel her..." her ring was glowing when Sebastian came over finding this interesting. "My, my how interesting it seems they are being controlled with that song. In which case." Setting himself up he sang a sound "Iron and steel with bend and bow, bend and bow, iron and steel-"

Coming up behind a doll he did just as the lyrics were sung as both Ciel and [Y/n] watched as how easily he was defeating them all, but just the lyrics they were doing it themselves. When he elegantly bow finishing the song "My fair Lady." He was right in front of [Y/n] but Ciel asked in disgust "Who are YOU calling A LADY." Chuckling as he looked at his young lord's face. He rises as he set [Y/n]'s hair strains out of her eye "Now My Young Lord and [Y/n]Let us go." When a cold emotionless sound came from nowhere. "I think not. Ciel Phantomhive....you are now the property of my master."
