Chapter 23: His Butler and Rook, Dissolution

A cloudy day was upon the day today, Ciel was just gazing out at the window as he was silently taking this day in. Just behind him, Everyone was packing things up, when the dolls were floating in with sleepy eyes wondering what was all the noise for. Now that Kanaria was part of the group she still had her hair a mess when she groans to Hinaichigo if mornings are ALWAYS like this.

Ciel was remembering how Kanaria came with a cocky smirk

~Flashback~

A day ago before the evening made everyone turn in for the night Pluto was making noises outside while Ciel was spending his last moments of the evening with (Y/n) enjoying a 'light' dessert before bed.

Ciel had just set his cup down surprised to hear what she had to say.

"Wait...You saw the same Kanaria....whom you meet at the church?! Hm, that is strange."

(Y/n) looked confused, when she spoke to the earl who made his move on a different game today.

"...Um...why is that? She didn't mean any harm...."

Exhausted face held itself up for fall off completely, Ciel is never going to understand where all this innocent nature of yours is going to end? Now look he isn't asking you to change overnight or anything but....you know he figured by now you would have your guard up by now. Fixing his gaze on her she was showing her walls down as she smiled harmless munching on the delicious food Sebastian made again and always stay behind just to hear those words from her.

Ciel already figured something was going on with his butler when it came to her. He was already laughing to himself wondering how is he going to confess his feelings to her and her clueless self. But maybe that is why she is always wearing her heart on her sleeve? It's not that it was a bad thing.....let's just say that is what Ciel doesn't want her to break.

How does it go again? 'The more innocent the easier it is to break their innocent?'

Ciel watched her with a faint of worry, as that is something he can't imagine breaking. Yet not wanting her to be more worried he made a joke saying maybe she was seeing things cause she wanted to thank Kanaria.

Making a cute little frown (Y/n) faced him all the way.

"But I promise I'm not lying."

He chuckled lowly as he finished his tea, saying he knows by now she isn't. But why in the world would she come here. After all, he knows by now, when you make enemies with people in the 'Underworld' they come after you. They don't care if you are a child or a woman.

"...I'm not saying I don't believe you. After all, you have proofed to me over and over that you are nothing but a truthful person. That's why I trust you as much as Sebastian. It....just....sometimes...I worry....you be hit with the ugly truth of this world that it will burn out that innocent of yours."

Although she was about to catch him with his own words she noticed something right in front of the window. Sebastian noticed her gaze leaning over he couldn't believe it himself. Completely ignoring Ciel's voice cause he kept talking and when he was about to finish (Y/n) smiled and pointed it out.

"...But she is right there."

Ciel faced her finger he almost falling over and off the chair. Cause Pluto had the Rozen Maiden Kanaria in his mouth wagging his tail all happy and everything like he was brought home something for dinner. Hinaichigo, Souseiseki, and Suiseiseki were trying to calm or get her to shut up. As she dangled in the demon dog's mouth you could hear them arguing for her to be released.
