Chapter 7: Best Day Ever

It was Thursday. Yesterday Randy told me that my surprise had to wait because he had one of his own and that I would find out what it is today. I woke up and found myself alone in the bed. I walked out of the room to see Randy making pancakes. "Remember the morning after we first really met and I made you and Madison pancakes? Well you said that they were delicious so I decided to make them for you again." he said.

I walked over to him gave him a peck on the lips and said, "Awww thanks babe you're so sweet."

He grabbed my waist and held me by his side while flipping the pancakes. I don't know why but I enjoyed simple times like these. Just standing there watching Randy cook. "So what do you have planned for us today?"

"Well right now we are going to have pancakes, then we are going to the beach so get ready."

I walked to my room and put on a new purple bikini, I had bought it when I went with Natalya to the mall. I then put on some high-waisted shorts and a blue croptop over. I walked out of the room and Randy just grinned. He was putting the pancakes on two plates and set them down on the table. I grabbed us both a glass of milk and we began to dig into breakfast.

When Randy was done he went into the room to go get changed into his swim gear. After about five minutes he was wearing the blue and black pair he wore to the pool that one time. "You look wow." I said.

"I know you're one lucky girl" he joked. I punched his arm and he said, "Just kidding you look beautiful today. When did you get that?"

"Remember when I went to the mall with Natalya on Monday?"

He nodded and we grabbed the rest of our stuff and got into the car.We drove for about 20 minutes until we hit the beach. Randy popped open the trunk and we grabbed our bags. After we set up I took off my clothes and headed into the water with Randy. It was kinda cold but I still did it.We were in the water for about 30 minutes, him just holding me in his arms as we watched the waves crash. After we sat on the shore and ate a small picnic which I thought was so romantic. I've always wanted to have a picnic on the shore. I wonder if he knew that. After we were done eating we just strolled along the beach holding hands. I rested my head on his shoulder. "Having a good time?" he asked.

"Very, how did you know I've always wanted to have a picnic on the shore?"

"I didn't I just thought you'd like it.'

"Well I have and thank you for today it's beautiful."

"Well the days not over I still have some stuff planned out for us."

Knowing that he planned a day just for the two of us warmed my heart. After a bit we decided to go back and leave the beach. I will never forget this experience. "So what's next" I asked.

"We are going to the movies and seeing whatever you want."

We drove about 5 miles then we arrived at Harkins theatre. I looked at the listings and decided to watch Insidious.

"You sure" he asked me

"Yup. I'll probably be holding your hand the whole time. This movie looks scary."

He grinned probably thinking about me being curled up next to him.

RANDYS POV

I grinned at her thinking about her being scared in the movie and crouching up into me. I have never actually seen Brooke scared. We walked into the theatre and grabbed our seats. "I'll go grab some popcorn and drinks." I said.

"Okay, I'll see you when you get back."

I went to the concession stand and got a large popcorn, two cokes, and a bag of Redvines, since I knew they were her favorite. I was walking back to our seats when I saw a guy talking to her. She saw me and gave me a look that told me he was hitting on her. I walked over to the guy who was a little built, had horrible hair, and no sense of style. . "Is there something I could help you with?" I asked.

"Oh no nothing just talking to a pretty girl." he said sizing me up.

"Well she's taken so beat it."

"I've seen prettier." the guy replied looking at Brooke as he walked away I tripped him and he fell straight to the ground. Almost everyone in the theatre started laughing at him. He mumbled something and got up and left. "Thanks" said Brooke.

"Anytime." I said with the grin I know droves her crazy. She bit her lip and the lights dimmed and the movie started. Right when the movie started getting scary she grabbed my hand and held it. I looked at her and chuckled. As the movie kept playing she kept getting closer and closer to me. By the end she had put the cup holder up and had her head buried in my chest. When the boy was saved she finally loosend up and just held my hand. After the movie was over she asked, "So what's next." I checked my watch and saw that it was 6 O'clock. "What's your favorite restaurant?"

"Ummmm Lucille's."

"We are going to Lucille's."

She giggle and put her head on my shoulder as we walked to the car. It took us about 10 minutes to find directions to a Lucille's in town and then about a 20 minute drive but I'm sure it will be worth it.

We walked in and we got seated almost immediately. We sat in a booth near a big family crawling with little kids who lined up to get our autographs. When we were done our server came and we ordered our drinks. A couple minutes passed and she brought our drinks and we ordered our food.

"So how was your day." I asked her.

"Great actually, my wonderful boyfriend took me to the beach, and we had a picnic on the shore which I adored, then he took me to the movies where he stood up to some guy which made him even more amazing, we saw Insidious and I was scared but knowing he was there helped me through, and now I am going to have a fabulous meal with your's truly."

I grinned and said, "Well my day was great too. I took my gorgeous girlfriend to the beach where she was smoking in the bikini she was wearing and we walked down the shore, then I took her to see a movie of her choice, which I was glad she picked because it made me feel great with her looking to me for safety, and now I am going to eat a delicious meal with her." Just as I finished she had a huge smile and our food came. We dined into our ribs and mashed potatoes, and corn, and biscuits. Then when we were done we ordered a slice of chocolate cake with ice cream. As it came I said, "wait til we have to work this off at the gym." She laughed and we dove in, occasionally spoon feeding eachother. I really think she was enjoying herself.

The bill came out to $70.83. "I've got this." she said handing me a card.

"No way little lady I took you out on this date and I am going to pay." She pulled her hand back and bit her lip. Wow that drove me crazy. After we paid we hopped into the car and listened to the music.

BROOKE'S POV

As we got into the car we listened to the music for a couple minutes. "Today was the best day ever Randy and I'm glad I got to spend it with you." I said. He smiled and kissed me quick before turning his attention back to the road. I smiled and I drifted asleep on the ride back to the hotel.

I woke up in Randy's arms. We were in the elevator and he was carrying me bridal style. "Hopefully someday this will be for real." I said. He looked down at me and kissed me. As the elevator doors opened Seth appeared. "Seth." I said.

"Oh hey Brooke. Randy." It was kind awkward. Randy put me down and we walked back to the room silently. "Okay now Randy now it's my turn to surprise you." I said walking into the bedroom to change. He smiled and sat down on the couch. Who knew what was going through his mind right now. I slipped on my new lingire Natty helped me pick out at Victoria Secret on Monday. I walked out and Randy stood up. His jaw dropped. "Wow." he said. I motioned him to come into the bedroom.
