dahlia was born into a very big household with lots of siblings and just family in general. she always stood out from everyone else in her family because she wasn't serious and all business like her parents or her siblings and she just loved to make the most of everything.
when dahlia was around fifteen she discovered she had bipolar, which was very common in her family, considering that her mother and her older brother have the same disorder. the disorder causes her to have moodswings, one day she could be really happy and the other day she won't be able to leave her room. he can cause her to have loss of energy or restlessness, depending on the day.
her family is very busy so for the most part she's learned to care for herself which is something that's very hard for her in a lot of ways. she has a lot of friends and for the most part she is a very friendly person who is very easy to talk to and get along with as well, but she does wish that her family helped her out more.
she's currently a junior in high school and she tends to hide her disorder the best she can. she does take her meds like she is supposed to and she hopes that in the future she will be able to control her disorder better than she does now because at times she still does struggle with certain things, like any teen going through it would.
