Chapter 2 My Best Friend

It was a week later of school. I was at gym our first gym class. My gym teacher then called out our names. I was the last name to be called. I was sitting next to a girl who was also new to the school her name was Carla.
"Hey your new too?" Carla asked
"Ya..." I said nervous and shyly
"Wanna be friends?" Carla asked
"Sure :)." I said and we became best friends we hung out most of the time together. She then introduced me to Christine, Emily B, and the other three girls. We hung out most of the year. I then was introduced to Carla other best friend Genesis and her friends Sarah, Isabella, and Valerie.

Here is where things start to get a little bit crazy or hectic whatever you call it.
Every time in lunch time when I sat with her and Genesis she would only talk to her. I asked why she only talks to Genesis during lunch and ignores me.
She told me "You are only my best friend in school and Genesis is like my best best friend."
I said "okay" casually to act like I wasn't hurt.
I was angry...jealous...sad...
I felt like a guard protecting Carla and doing nothing not talking just eating my lunch. I felt like nothing. I felt like a piece of shit. I felt like Carla didn't care about me. I felt like I needed a new friend.

Welp I cried writing this...but I will keep writing things get juicier the next chapter.
