Routine.

LUCY'S P.O.V

"Open!! Gate of the maiden!! Virgo!!!" I don't know what I was saying. But I guess it was meant to be that way.
Suddenly, a lavender haired girl in a corny maid's dress appeared out of nowhere.
But strangely...I recognised her.
"Virgo!! Help me fight those three treasure hunters!!"
I yelled.
"Yes, Princess. Would you like to punish me??" She asked in a monotone voice.
"No.. now just do what I say" Judging by the tone of my voice, I guess she said that quite often.
"That maid of yours is no match for my bullets."
One of the hunters said, smirking.
He shot a bullet. It narrowly hit me, leaving a minor scratch on my right arm.
Virgo (I think that's her name) started fighting those three "hunters"
"How dare you harm princess!!" She screamed.
Near me, a young blue haired girl was also fighting.
"Sky dragon wing attack!!" She yelled.
It did not surprise me. I am used to this gibberish.
Slices of wind left a clean cut on one of the hunter's arm

(A/N I don't remember that episode clearly. So I am writing it my way. Please don't get confused)

"You pesky little brat!!" The hunter cursed.
I don't know how but I knew what to do.
"Open, gate of the lion!!! Leo!!" I chanted.
"You sexist pig!!" Leo came behind that hunter.
Omigosh. Sexist pig!!
They started fighting.
But then, me and that other girl started running out of energy.
I started to lose my breath.
Suddenly, Leo and Virgo disappeared. I collapsed.
So did the other girl.
"Looks like you girls don't have much magic left" the Hunter smirked. Magic?!
"Please help!!!" The bluentte screamed.
The hunters were nearing us with their sinister smiles.
I was getting really scared by the second.
"Aaaaaah!!!" One of the hunters yelled, as he started to run around. At first, I was confused. But then I saw fire in his butt.
"Natsu!!" The other girl cheered.
A pinkette emerged from behind the second hunter, knocking him out cold with a single punch using his flame ignited fists.
How the hell is his hand able to withstand flames!?!
"Never mess with the son of Igneel" he yelled as he kicked the third hunter too.
It was no use. They were powerless against him.
"Are you okay, Wendy??" He asked the blue haired girl as he helped her up.
His warm eyes then looked over to me. My heart skipped a beat.
His warm hands snaked around my waist and he whispered into my ears
"You did well out there, luce."

I woke up. Panting. Sweating. Totally out of breath.
But this was my way of waking up.
I didn't bother to look at the time because I knew it was 6:02 am.
That's been the exact time.
I felt slight pain on my right arm.
I looked to see a scratch mark on it. The blood was clotted.
I just sighed. This has been happening since I was 8, I guess. No, I think it was 7. Nevermind.
I went to the bathroom to wash it.
Then I took a quick shower and changed into my white tank top, with a pair of jean shorts. I wore my brown boots and a bit of makeup. Even though it is not necessary. I have been alone in fairy tail high since I started. My last year is not gonna be any different.
I wore my blonde hair into a messy ponytail.
I went outta my room, not before kissing my mom's photograph. "Goodbye" I whispered.
I shook my head. This is not the time to get sentimental.
I have to be happy. At least pretend to be.
I locked my house and went into the elevator.
I had rented a small and simple apartment. I moved in when I was 14. That was the time when my dad trashed the whole house and left for good. Since then, I've been alone.
Thank god I was a bit matured to understand the gravity of the situation. So with great difficulties, I sold that mansion and earned quite a lot.
I do part time job in a library. Don't think I am a nerd. I just needed to earn and I loved books. Especially romance.
The "ping" sound of the elevator interrupted my thoughts.
I walked out of it and trudged towards the pavement.
Oh yeah! Totally forgot about the "formalities"
I'm Lucy Heartfilia. 17. Typical, socially disconnected highschooler. I hope my last year of high school ends quickly.
I have changed my surname to Lucy Ashley because
1) people think that I am a spoilt, rich brat cause Heartfilia's are fiore's one of the most richest families.
2) people start befriending me because of my wealth (which I already left behind)
3) I have nothing to do with Heartfilia's.  Cause my dad basically blamed me for my mom's death, became a drug addict and I hate him.

So...That's my life.
And sometimes, I wish to die.

I entered the corridors of fairy tail high.
I walked up to my lockers and put my stuff in it.
Just 2 minutes more and some "usual"  was gonna happen.

.

.

"Hey!! Dork!!" A voice called.
I mentally facepalmed. Just as I had predicted.
I turned around and put a fake smile.
"Hey lasanga!!" I said.
"It's lisanna!!" She said through her gritted teeth.
Her minions narrowed their eyes at me.

She then slapped me. Straight across my cheeks.
It stung. Like hell. But I didn't do anything.

"Never call me that!! Get it?!!" She screamed like a lunatic.
Typical bullies. I guess I'm not all alone in this school after all.
Then she motioned her minions. They nodded.
All of them had sinister smirks plastered across their faces.
They tackled me to the ground and started slapping, punching and kicking me.
Basically, torturing me.

I took it all in. I always have. That's what I am. A punch bag.

"STOP!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?!" A deep voice yelled.
I turned to look but couldn't see his face.
He started punching lisanna's minions.
I squeezed my eyes shut. I was in pain. I just wanted to be alone.

Suddenly, warm hands enveloped me and carried me bridal style.
"Hey! Are you okay?" His warm breath trickled on my face.
I opened my eyes slowly, but everything was blurry.
All I saw was a flash of pink. And then I blacked out.
