Standing outside I could hear lots of yelling and banging. I couldn't tell if those were the boys or a serial murder was occurring. Harry slid his room key into the door and proceeded to opening it once he heard the door beep.I worried so much about my room being untidy for Harry, but his was a complete disaster! Were there 5 boys staying here or 20? Clothes everywhere. Pillows thrown around and it almost looked like they were trying to make a fort out of the blankets and tables. Some blonde boy with an Irish accent was arguing with another boy, with lots of tattoos like Harry's, brown, ratty hair on the top of his head.
"Niall you can't be throwing things around willy nilly! And if you place those pillows there you will mess with the whole structure of our fort," The brown hair boy said as he took a pillow and hit the boy who I was assuming was Niall.
"Oh, yer gunna fuckin get it Louis!" Niall shouted and threw a pillow back at Louis. There was a lot of wild stuff going on in this hotel room. There was one boy with some sort of sanity was on the bed reading a book or something; he seemed rather intelligent and wise for his age.
"HEY!" Harry shouted, "Louis and Niall could you please stop acting like children? And Liam could put your book down for a minute?" They all stared at Harry and then their eyes fell on me and I felt majorly insecure so I slide a little behind Harry, still holding his hand.
"Harry what did we say about bringing groupies up here lad?" Louis chuckled.
"Not very wise, Haz. Who knows what the dickhead paps will think," Liam said, kind of looking up from his book.
"Could you guys knock it off? This is my good friend Macey-" he didn't get to finish.
"THE ONE YOU WON'T STOP TALKING ABOUT??" They all chimed in together and came close to greet me. I felt a little more welcome, but still pretty scared.
"It's so nice to finally meet the girl our Harry wouldn't stop talking about! I'm Louis," he said sticking out his hand. I shook it, but I look up at Harry and I could see him smiling and blushing a bit. He's so precious.
"Niall," he said embracing me into a hug. His thick Irish accent justified him hugging me. Irish people were very friendly and forward like that.
"Liam. Pleasure to meet you Macey," he said shaking my hand. He was my favorite so far. Very polite. I could tell that his family raised him well.
"Here Macey, we can sit over here," Harry said as he guided me to the chair by the fort. He allowed me to sit in the chair and he sat in between my legs on the floor. The boys followed and sat in spots around us.
"As you can clearly see there is only 4 of us, when there used to be 5," said Niall glumly.
"Zayn left after our 4th album. It was too much for him to handle so now here we are. One Direction, minus one group member," Liam said with slight frustration.
I could see this change affected them greatly. They didn't let it bother them for long though. They started to asked a lot about me and of course to me, my answers were super boring, but just like Harry they seemed truly interested. Apparently me liking Irish coffee made Niall and I best friends and he invited me to visit his home in Dublin sometime. Liam was reading To Kill A Mockingbird, which was the book that got me through University on the lonely nights. We talked a little bit about that, but then the boys got bored with our "sophisticated" talk so we moved on. They asked if I listened to any of their music and I had to apologize because all I really heard was What Makes You Beautiful, but they said it was fine. As the conversation deepened, I found myself running my hands through Harry's hair, it gave me some comfort. He leaned his head back to look up at me and he smiled his gorgeous smile. I smiled back as I watched him close his eyes and dose off a bit.
Louis was sitting next to us and he whispered to me, "So how long have you been in love with Harry." All I could do was stare at him with my eyes wide. "Oh come on Macey. You walked in holding hands and you playing his hair as he sleeps on you, that's love right there."
"I mean we've been best friends for so long and yeah I've thought about it, but I don't know honestly," I said trying to make sure Harry hear. "You guys would be pretty cute together, Macey."
"Yeah, but I would just feel like I was holding him back in his career and that's what I almost did before when he first left Chesire," I said in more of sad tone. My eyes glanced over at the time and I noticed it was 1 AM. I gently woke Harry up. He groaned and begged for 5 more minutes, but I told him that it was time for me to go.
He got up and extended his hand to me once more. As he led me back to my room, I felt I should say something, but I decided to just keep quiet. The elevator ride went super quick and the next thing I knew we were at my hotel room door. I took my key out of my pocket and before I opened my door I turned to Harry.
"I had a lot of fun getting to know your new friends tonight Harry," I said looking up into his sleepy eyes. "I'm glad they got to meet you. I could tell they liked you a lot," he took my hand, "Also I heard you talking to Louis." My heart started beating fast and his gaze was no longer on me. I didn't know what to do or say so I just grabbed his face and kissed him. He bent down slightly and pulled me in close, kissing me back.
We both pulled away at the same time and realized what we had done. I quickly ran inside, but before I closed the door I yelled, "CATCH YOU ON THE FLIP SIDE!"
I know that was stupid, but that's how my first kiss with Harry went...
