"Morning Kenz. It's day 3 now. The guys and girls are coming in a few hours. When you wake up, I promise to take care of you like I did before the accident. I love you and I don't want anything bad to happen to you again." I say.
Guess what happened next,
I felt her hand move.
"Kenzie? Kenzie?" I repeat her name twice.
"John.." she weakly says.
"You're awake." I smile, "I'm calling the doctors."
I pressed the red button and the doctors and nurses came in.
"Thank you Johnny, please leave the room so we can check on her."
I left the room like the doctor said and texted Maddie and then the group.
johnny : maddie
maddie : something up?
johnny : kenzie's awake and the doctor is checking on her rn :)
maddie : oh my gawd i'm coming with my mom right now

lauren : is she okay? did something happen?

hayden : what's up
johnny : she's awake and you guys can come now whenever you want
hayden : i'm skrt skrting out of my house rn with annie
annie : skrt skrting..?
hayden : shh i'm trying to be everyone's mood and spirit animal
joey : lol what were you guys doing there anyway

annie : we were just hanging out joey calm down oml
joey : sure
brynn : omw with joey
joey : since when
brynn : stfu and come pick me up or you get pooches instead of smooches for you

joey : smh fine but i better get smooches then
lauren : i'll be there in a few with carson
johnny : k cya all in a few

Kenzie was all clear and I walked back into the room pulling her into a tight hug.
"John" kenzie says
"Hmm?" I reply
"I have to breathe you know" she chuckles
"Sorry" I laugh
"Did you hear every word we said to you..?" I mumbled
"Every word." She smiles
"I'm glad." I utter
"And John,"
"Yes?"
"I love you too"
I hugged her but she decided a kiss was needed. In fact it was.
"Get a room you two." Annie says while walking in.
"But they are in the room" hayden laughs
"Shut up hayden" annie smiles while pulling him into a hug
"Kenzie you're awake!" Lauren runs to the bed.
"Awake I am" she chuckles.

i'm starting to lose motivation in this book so i might end it chapter 15-20 idk rn.
i do have another book planned however and the plot is more interesting ;)
