Time skip to a few months like ur 8 months in
I looked in the mirror I was 8 months pregnant. We decided we wanted a surprise, so we didn't do a gender reveal. I walked in to the baby's room and looked at it. Jack came behind me and wrapped his hand around my stomach rubbing my belly. He sorta tensed up.
"I felt a kick in there! " Jack said smiling. He knelt down and started talking.
"Hey there little one it's daddy, I'm so excited to meet you! I'll tell you this much daddy's gonna love you so much and so is mommy! " I started to tear up as he kissed my head.
"I'm gonna go record a video!" he said.
"OK babe but remember we are gonna go see my parents today so don't take long." I said smiling. Soon later Jack was done and we went to my parents house. We walked in to streamers and a decorated house that had a few words. 'welcome to our world baby'
This was a late baby shower. I walked in to my friends and family. They all yelled 'surprise! ' when we walked in the living room. I rested my hand on my stomach and rubbing it. Y/f/n walked over to hug you she did it softly cause there was a watermelon between us. We opened presents all unisex and then soon left. On the way out of the door my pants were wet. My water had broken. I was in shock as my parents and Jack rushed me into the car and started to call my friends and family again to meet at the hospital.
"What's going on?" I said
"well you are gonna be in labor soon if Jack dosent drive faster! " my mom said.
"I'm sorry I'm having a pre-parental attack." he said stepping on it. We got in the hospital and I was in a bed in seconds having contractions and in pain.
