Bechole - Das Sound Machine (DSM)

Chapter I

After accepting Emily into their group, Chloe, and the Bellas headed out to a college party on campus. Chloe hadn't heard from Beca all day so she sent a text to her girlfriend, letting her know where she and the Bellas were.

Chloe: Hey, Munchkin, the girls and I are going to a party a few houses down from us. Hope to see you there. xxx

Chloe sent the text then after creeping through the bushes, she and the Bellas arrived at the party, which was full of college students. Everyone was drinking, dancing, laughing, and having fun. Chloe tried hard not to worry about her girlfriend, but she couldn't help it from time to time. She knew Beca had tough days at work as an intern and sometimes they could be too much for the woman, which would often result in Beca curling up in bed with Chloe and watching Netflix.

Even though she loved parties, Chloe always had trouble having fun without the brunette but with the help of the fellow Bellas, she was able to enjoy herself without the aid of Beca.

"Oop! Sorry!" Chloe's dancing was interrupted when some stranger bumped into her.

"That's okay... Jesse?" Chloe froze when she saw Jesse standing in front of her.

"Chloe... Hi." He uttered nervously.

"Hi." Chloe's tone was a little cooler.

Ever since he met Beca several years ago, Jesse always had a crush on the brunette and didn't hide it. He tried pursing Beca but she just wasn't interested. He quickly caught on that there was chemistry between Beca and Chloe, and instantly became jealous of their budding relationship. Chloe wasn't blind to the advances Jesse made towards Beca, and she tried hard not to let it bother her.

"What... What, ah, what are you doing here?" Jesse asked.

"The same reason you're here - to party and have fun." Chloe responded.

"Fair enough."

"Listen," Chloe sighed. "Have you seen Beca?" She didn't want to ask but if she couldn't find Beca, then Jesse would. He could always spot the shorter woman from a mile away.

"No, I thought she would be with you."

"No... She's probably still at work. Oh, well." Chloe shrugged it off like it was nothing.

"Alright, well... Good to see you." Jesse concluded.

"You, too." Chloe forced a smile while Jesse went on his way.

"All good, Chloe?" Cynthia Rose asked, gently placing her hand on Chloe's shoulder for support.

"Yeah. It's all good." She smiled.

"He's still hooked up on her, hey?"

"Ugh, you don't even know the half of it. He just won't let it go!" Chloe scoffed.

"I wouldn't worry about him. You and Beca are tighter than the laces on my boots!"

"Thanks, Cynth."

"No worries, girl." Cynthia Rose smiled then went back to partying.

Chloe looked around at the Bellas, noting how much fun they were having. Chloe checked her phone again and still hadn't received a text from Beca. The redhead sighed then sent off another text.

Chloe: I know you might be tired from work, but please come out tonight. It's not as fun without you here. Love you. xxx

"Love you, too."

Chloe jumped when she heard a familiar voice behind her. It was Beca, and the redhead beamed from ear to ear when she saw her girlfriend.

"Baby!" Chloe engulfed the brunette in a tight hug, which made Beca laugh. "You made it!"

The pair separated.

"I did. Sorry I didn't reply. I was driving when I got your message then I raced over here." Beca explained.

"That's okay. You're here now. Are you thirsty?"

"Parched."

"Come on then, let's get you a drink."
