The Gentleman's Club was situated ten miles outside of the small town of Moorside, the decaying exterior easily mistaken for a slimy bar, avoided at all costs by any visitors passing through.
However, each Saturday at midnight cars filled the surrounding fields, every adrenaline junkie, rebelling teen and sadistic neighbour coming to watch the fights run by Keenan Young, a misplaced Scotsman running the only underground fight scene for miles.
And his prize fighter?
The beast himself.
Alec Rose.

"Keenan!" Athena's hand lands on Keenan's shoulders roughly, twirling the short man to face her with the suppressed anger of a caged lion. Keenan would find the dark haired beauty intimidating if not surrounded by his own men, her piercing eyes full of enough loathing and lust to set any sensible man on edge.
"Miss. Rose, what can I do for you?" The tone she took with him would have received a very different reaction had she been anyone else but the look of distaste been thrown his way was enough warning for the man to let it go.
"What can you do for me?" Athena flips a long strand of hair over a tan shoulder, giving the strawberry blonde a crystal clear view of the faint scars trailing over her collarbones and slipping slyly under her shirt.
"How about you get this shit-show organised, huh? Think you can manage that?"
"Watch yourself, Athena." At the slightest flick of Keenan's index finger, a large man, dressed head to toe in black, steps forward, raising his chin at Athena in challenge, yet still barely receiving any further acknowledgment other than a small scoff.
"Just tell me who Alec's up against, Kee."
'Kee.'
Oh, he liked that.
"Kings." The small word earns him a large smile - fake, but nonetheless, a smile. The tall girl taking a step backwards in compromise, letting go of Keenan's shoulder with obvious pleasure.
"Now was that so hard?" Tilting her head, Athena begins to move through the crowd, heading back towards the obscenely large changing rooms where Alec was getting ready; confident about his oncoming, easy win against Kingsley James.
Watching the woman leave for a brief moment Keenan begins gracefully manoeuvring through the masses, the people - his people, moving out of his way just as they had for Miss. Rose.
Respectfully.
Fearfully.
Reaching his office, Keenan shuts the door behind him forcefully, not bothering to use the copious amounts of locks weighing down the wood. No-one would dare disturb him. He owned these people and most of them owed him.
