"So this is Veronica, huh?" Gray asked (Name) as she looked around in awe.
"Yeah, apparently it is!" (Name) smiled softly at Gray, and he couldn't resist the urge to smile back the same exact way. (Name) giggled a bit and patted him on the top of his head, and skipped forward. Gray chuckled and followed after the giddy (Name).
"Do you even know where you're going?" Gray asked (Name) as he watched her.
"Nope not a clue!" She claimed in reply, making Gray release a sigh. "What, it's the honest truth, isn't that what you want instead of me saying yes and getting us both lost?" (Name) pointed out.
"I'd rather you be honest." Gray quickly replied.
"I knew it." (Name) said proudly of her obvious prediction.
"Should we ask around, or get some sort of map?" Gray asked.
"I hate maps." (Name) stated. Gray chuckled.
"Well alright." He smiled.
"You're doing the asking, too." (Name) ordered.
"What, why?!" Gray whined.
"You're idea!~" (Name) said in a sing-song tone of voice. She walked ahead of Gray and exited the train station, leaving him behind.
"Wait, (Name)!!" Gray called after the girl, running out after her.
"Yeah?" (Name) looked back at him over her shoulder with her (hair length) (hair color) cradling her face and bringing out the sparkle in her (eye color) eyes. Gray blushed a bit.
"We're partners on this mission, you know. That means we have to stick together, duh." Gray reminded her smirking.
"Whaatever." (Name) continued walking. Gray quickly caught up with her so he wouldn't loose her again.
"So, I think the job was posted by the mayor, why don't you check?" Gray asked (Name), and glanced around to see their surrounding as (Name) pulled out the request. She scanned over it once more, and noticed something on the very bottom of the sheet. She flipped the paper over from what reason? Gray had no clue. She scanned it over again, and handed the paper to Gray with the back side facing up.
"Here you go." (Name) said, still holding out the paper. Gray took it and looked over the back, seeing it was blank.
"You do realize, this is blank, right?" Gray asked (Name), handing the request back to her, and (Name) took it and looked over the back again.
"No, it has a map on it." (Name) protested.
"It does?"
"Yes!"
"You sure?" Gray kept questioning (Name).
"Positive! Maybe it's part of my magic, right?" (Name) asked trying to come to a conclusion.
"Hmm, now that you mention it, it might just be possible." Gray stated, going into thought.
"Probably because I consider all options available." (Name) grinned and Gray glared. "Hey, no need to glare!!"
"Really?" Gray said, not even a question. It was also rather blank and bland.
"You okay??" (Name) questioned.
"I'm fine." Gray responded.
"Alrighty then..." (Name) muttered.
"So this map you can apparently see, does it show any sort of location that stands out." Gray suggested, getting serious.
"Yeah it does. That's where we're going right now." (Name) said, turning on her heels and walking to the left of where she was previously standing. Gray looked at where she was standing next to him, and noticed she was gone, since he wasn't paying attention, Gray hadn't heard (Name) say that they were leaving. He looked around in a hurry, and noticed her (hair length) (hair color) hair and (skin tone) skin. He smiled and ran to once again catch up with her quick, swift movements. He was once again by (Name)'s side, finally, and he was content, again.
"Why'd you run off?" Gray asked the focused (Name).
"I said we were going somewhere because I noticed something on the map. It's circled and says 'Go here' on it and there are even arrows pointing directions to that one specific location..." (Name) muttered, occasionally glancing up from the appearing blank backside of the request paper.
"Oh, I must not have heard you." Gray somewhat apologized.
"No you just weren't paying any attention at all and I took advantage of that and ran." (Name) wasn't joking around when she said this either. Or, at least it seemed like that was what was going on.
"Seriously?!" Gray complained, stopping dead in his tracks.
"No, of course I'm kidding, baka." (Name) laughed that he actually believed her joke. "I was joking!" She bent over with her (hair length) (hair color) hair enveloping her beautiful (skin tone) face and (eye color) eyes as she laughed.
"That wasn't a very nice joke, you know." Gray mumbled under his breathe, running a hand through his hair.
"I know but you and Natsu do it all the time!" (Name) countered, strutting off with her chin in the air and her sparkly (eye color) eyes closed.
"Wait up!!" Gray called, running after her.
"Slow poke!" (Name) called over her shoulder and started running. Gray ran after her, barely staying up with (Name)'s fast track skills.
"Not!!" Gray yelled in response.
"YUP!" (Name) giggled, turning a sharp corner. Gray tried to slow down, and stop, but ended up running into a wall as (Name) ran around another corner.
Gray sighed and created a stairway to the roof tops using his magic and ran up, and started to pick up on (Name)'s quiet foot steps somehow, and ran after her, creating a bridge for every time her had to switch roof tops. Once he finally found her and had caught up, for the umpteenth time that day, and (Name) had finally stopped.
She knew Gray was there, and said a simple. "We're here."
