Gray and (Name) arrived at the train station. They walked into the building, side by side, and went to the train area to see which ones were going to Lavender, Veronica. (Name) spotted the specific train, and tapped Gray's shoulder a ton of times in a few seconds. "Gray, Gray, Gray, I found it!!" (Name) was happy, and she skipped over to the train. She boarded onto it, and Gray quickly followed her. They found a seat and settled in, sitting across from each other, and ready for the long train ride to come.

"So (Name), why'd yu pick this specific mission?" Gray asked the female sitting in front of him.

(Name) gave him a mere shrug as her response. "No idea, it just caught my interest and I decided to take the job!" She smiled, and Gray sighed and shook his head. "What?????" (Name) asked him, poking his cheek from across the small table in between the two individuals. Gray blushed lightly.

"Nothing, don't worry." He said.

"You sure? You're being awfully suspicious to me at the moment, you know." (Name) raised an eyebrow at his strange behavior.

"I'm absolutely positive. And that's your opinion" Gray pointed out after attempting to reassure the suspicious (Name).

"Opinion. Really?! You're being evem more difficult than the pyro!!" (Name) groaned and Gray glared.

"What was that?" He glared harder.

"You're being even more hot headed than Natsu." (Name) glared back.

"Whatever. Let's just discuss the mission..." Gray muttered.

"Right. Fine. The curses make these demons and are attacking local towns near Lavender, Veronica. Although these 'demons' can be killed, they'll apparently regenerate until their curse is broken or lifted." (Name) explained, pulling out the job request and looking over it to see if she missed anything. "Yeah, that's pretty much it." (Name) nodded her head in conclusion.

"Interesting. Is there specific detail of what kinds of demons there are?" Gray asked, trying to gain more information.

"No, not really. Other than the fact they are from the book of Zeref, nothing is listed in the description." (Name) explained, a bit confused herself.

"That's a bit odd..." Gray commented.

"Yeah, I know..." (Name) replied, still a bit confused.

Then, a strange man walked over."You two are going to slay Zeref's demons in Lavender, Veronica." he questioned, eyeing (Name) secretly through his mask.

"And why should we tell you?" (Name) glared up at the strange person standing in front of her and Gray. (Name) crossed her (skin tone) arms, and Gray sighed.

"Yes we are, now what about it do you need to say?" Gray questioned and the supposed man smirked and removed his mask to show a blood caked face, razor sharp teeth, glowing red eyes, and a snake like slimy tongue.

"I just so happen to be one of those demons, you know." The demon smirked and picked (Name) up by her (favorite color) tank top, and pulled her close to his face. "And she just so happens to be my new prey, (First name) (Middle name) (Surname)."

"How do you know my name." (Name) glared.

"Like I said, I'm a demon. I can see your thoughts and mind and I must say you are a rather attractive girl with that (hair color) hair over yours." He ran the snake-like tongue over his lips, eyeing (Name) over.

"You'd better let her go!" Gray finally came to (Name)'s defense, automatically loosing his coat and shirt.

"Or what, ice stripper?" The demon countered, receiving hits from a flailing (Name). He wasn't too happy about that.

"Let go of you me, you creepy ass pervert!!" (Name) screamed at the top of her lungs. All eyes, which weren't really much, were on the group of the demon, (Name), and Gray. "Let go of me NOW!" (Name growled), her eyes turning black and her pupils turning a deep, dark purple. The demon's eyes widened at this and muttered something about (Name) being a demon slayer, and thrusted (Name) into Gray's arms and vanished with a screech and smoke, leaving ashes scattered on the ground.

"What the hell was that..." Gray asked, cradling (Name) in his arms. (Name)'s eyes were wide, and back to their usual (color) hue. Gray sighed and hugged her close, and (Name) was still in too much shock to move. She was honestly paralyzed. "(Name), you okay?" Gray asked, concern filling his face and worry ringing in his voice.

"I-I don't know..." (Name) stuttered, barely whispering out her words.

"What don't you know?" Gray was extremely worried because of (Name)'s state. "Hey, it's okay now, you're okay." (Name) nodded, accepting the comfort and finally gained movement, so she hugged Gray back. "Do you know what it said? I think it said something that has to do with you being a demon slayer or something." Gray asked.

"No, I don't. I thought nothing in this world knew what my magic is." (Name) furrowed her eyebrows together in confusion.

"Hmm..." Gray muttered and (Name) sighed as her response to Gray's little hum of confusion.

"Are you sure it knew what my magic was? Or at least said something about it?" (Name) asked, developing a bit of amnesia from earlier events. Gray nodded. "Oh... oh well, I'm sure the other demons would know if it did, correct? I mean, if one knows the others should. I don't even know what demon magic is--"

"You do realize that no one in the world knows what it is, right?" Gray cut (Name) off by pointing that fact out and giving her a reminder. (Name) only sighed again in response. Gray chuckled and then the both of them resumed their seats and sat in silence. Eventually they both passed out, that was until the trained jerked and creaked to a stop. They both stood up and caught their balance from the light-headedness, and walked off the train and into the small country of Veronica.
