Ludwig felt the warm breath coming from the Italian's mouth that was almost touching Ludwig's bare back. Ludwig felt tingles for every breath the Italian breathed on him. Feliciano was definitely asleep by now, as his breathing had slowed moments ago. But, oddly, it seemed to quicken, like he was panicked or being chased. Feliciano let out a small cry and what seemed to be an apology. What was going on?

Feliciano felt himself fall asleep and did nothing to stop it. He welcomed it because he knew he was protected. When Feliciano entered the white, blank world, something felt different than the last time he was here. He spun around and saw a man that looked like himself, but different. He was dressed in a tan uniform that had a small cap set on his head. His hair was darker and redder, and his eyes were... magenta. His face was pissed and stared down Feliciano. Feliciano began to back away as he felt threatened. "Feli, I told you..." Feliciano bumped into the man that was now suddenly behind him, holding one of Feliciano's wrists, the other hand holding Feliciano's waist. "Not to trust that German..."

Feliciano, terrified, began to try and break free. As he did, he sprinted forward and fell back when his hair was being tugged harshly, crashing him hard to the floor. Feliciano let out a small cry. "You shouldn't defy me, Feli," the man said crouching over Feliciano. Feliciano started feeling moisture drip down his cheeks as he slowly realized he was crying. The man smiled. "Apologize."

"S-sorry," Feliciano muttered shakingly, afraid of being hit.

Feliciano woke up from his shoulders being frantically shaked and Ludwig calling his name. Feliciano smiled and hugged Ludwig. "You saved me."

Ludwig was concerned for this little Italian. What could he possibly mean by save? Feliciano cuddled into Ludwig's chest as his breathing was still harsh and fast, and his head still hurt from where his hair was pulled. Ludwig rubbed the Italian's back gently, trying to help the Italian calm down. Feliciano's breathing finally started to calm for what seemed to be hours pass by.

"Ludwig?"

"Ja?"

"... Can we not sleep?"

Ludwig buried his head into the Italian's hair. "Ja."

Feliciano smiled into the German's chest. He felt Ludwig's hand join in with his head in the soft, red-ish brown hair of the Italian. Feliciano enjoyed the soothing motions the hand made. This continued for a while, Feliciano falling in love with the serenity the moment endured. Soon, Ludwig's breathing slowed and his hand seemed stop and only brush a single patch of hair. It appeared that the German was falling asleep.

Feliciano shivered as the realization came to him: his guardian won't be able to protect him. Feliciano began to tear up into the German's chest. Ludwig's breathing stopped. "Don't worry, Feli," Ludwig mumbled, as if he could read the Italian's mind. "I'll still protect you."

Feliciano nodded and allowed himself to fall into slumber once again as his eyes closed for him. "Bastardo! I won't let you wake up again!"

Feliciano jumped at the sudden yelling. "I-" The man jumped on to Feliciano, knocking them both to the ground, the man holding Feliciano's mouth tightly. A little too tightly. The man smerked. "What did I say? Speaking makes you wake up faster~"

Feliciano let out a whimper as the man's hand got tighter to the second. Feliciano gasped as the strong hand finally let go. Feliciano touched his hand to his now raw jaw. The man seemed happy at his work. "Feliciano Vargas, I believe I've never told you my name."

Feliciano shook his head. Indeed, the man did not.

"Wha... are you shaking your head because you agree I haven't or shaking your head because I have and you're trying to correct me?"

Feliciano almost said something, but remembered and touched his hand to his jaw.

"Nevermind that, I am Luciano."

Feliciano nodded, oddly Luciano's name sounded close to his own.

"I've been watching you for a while, Feli," Luciano said as he caressed Feliciano's cheek, holding it as if waiting for something to happen. Feliciano gulped.

Luciano smiled and leaned in closer, their noses almost touching. "And I never wanted someone so much in my life."

Feliciano shivered, this stranger stalking him for how long? How long was he being watched? Wasn't this just his mind? Feliciano asked himself many questions before he felt Luciano's lips pressed hard against his own, Luciano going in for a deep, passionate, lustful kiss. Feliciano pulled away first, almost disgusted and completely and utterly terrified. "LUDWI-"

Luciano slapped the Italian's face harshly. Feliciano cried out and attempted to yell again. "LUD-"

Luciano slapped the Italian's face, harder this time, tears seeming to hide themselves behind Luciano's magenta eyes. "BASTARDO!"

Feliciano woke up sweating with the German standing, fully dressed in a brightly lit room, with concerned eyes painted so intensely on the German's face. "Feliciano are you okay? I heard you yelling my name, I-" the German cut himself off and sighed, obviously wanting to hold the Italian. "I was so worried."

Feliciano jumped off the bed and clung to Ludwig, holding tightly onto the German's shirt. "Grazie, Ludwig," Feliciano smiled his warm smile, letting his fear let go of him as the German brought a sense of security that could fend off any evil, any harmful spirits. As if his very presence scared bad things off. Feliciano nuzzled his nose into the German's chest, a bright pink forming on the German's face as Feliciano buried himself deeper into his chest, like he was asking to be saved from everything. Saved from the world. Ludwig placed his large muscular hand on the Italian's lower back and lowered his head. "Everything will be fine, Feli," Ludwig blushed as he said Feliciano's nick-name but Feliciano seemed unphased, "I promise."

Feliciano looked up, tears appearing in the corner of his seemingly closed eyes. "You mean it?"

"Ja."

Feliciano nodded and tucked himself back into the German's slightly soaked with tears chest. Feliciano and Ludwig stayed in that position for a small while until Ludwig sighed and said, "I have to work today, my bruder does too, I believe. You can stay here if you want, your car is still at the bar and your keys are on the counter."

Feliciano hesitated, then nodded. Why was Ludwig leaving him?

Ludwig sighed and pried the Italian off. "Bye. Oh, and there are three dogs in the back. They aren't harmful." With that Ludwig left.

Feliciano's heart dropped when he heard the front door slam shut and a car pull out. Feliciano suddenly felt the painful headache that seemed to shake his vision. Feliciano flopped down on the bed and rest his head on the pillow, letting his headache drain into the abyss. Feliciano noticed his clothes neatly folded, and a phone buzzing constantly. That's when Feliciano noticed he was still in his underwear. He quickly slipped on his jeans and took a closer look at his phone.
