You Can't Have Us Both

Chapter 2

My heart began to beat fast. I don't know why but I all of the sudden started to feel nervous. "What's up?" I asked pushing the weirdness in my stomach away. He seemed to have hesitated and sighed, of course he tried to make it oblivious. "I was just gonna say, that if you wanted to stay home tonight, I'll be glad to stay with you." he grinned. I smiled and laughed, "Ill be alright, besides I think Jason will be downright pissed of we skip out on him."

"I'm sure he'll be fine," he took a step closer to me, looking straight into my eyes with his crystals. I shook my head and slightly blushed, "Nah, it's fine besides we might actually have fun." he replied with a disappointed look that flashed across his face and quickly smiled. "Alright, if your sure. I'll catch up with you after class." he swiftly bent down and kissed my cheek and the dashed to class. I soon came to my senses and ran in the opposite direction as my class was in the gym. Which was my worst subject.

I decided to sit out this period and study for my test that was next period, but there was one problem....Ashley Bartley. She was the 'popular' girl I guess you could say and a total Barbie doll. She had the big hair and the fake nails along with the fake boobs and butt her parents got her for her birthday last year. She was a total plastic. She might as well been a manican.

"Well, well, we'll. If it isn't Adalina." I could feel her piercing brown eyes on my bent over head. I never bothered to look at her, but just replied with an uninterested tone. "Hello Ashley. Goodbye Ashley." She smirked, "What? No smart-ass remark at my niceness?" I tried not to laugh as I looked up. "The only niceness you have is when your trying to get some from coach Ashton." Oh I knew that did it, she was madder than Lucifer being kicked out of Hell.

"What did you say to me Bitch?!" She was furious, I stood up face to face with her. No backing out now......
