Alex's P.O.V.
My eyes got wider as what she said kept echoing in my mind. 'You said you loved me.' She really heard me? I thought she was asleep. I opened my mouth to say something but she quickly and eagerly interrupted.
"Crazy right?" She laughed nervously.
I bit my bottom lip. Now was my chance to tell her how I really feel. To let her know that she is my sunlight to my day. She is my everything, everything I could ever want. Here I go...
"Actually.." I started to say but was instantly cut off by Jason walking into the room.
"Ada, why aren't you ready yet? Go now and hurry up." He said in a hurry.
Damn him. Well there went my chance. Why did he have to walk in now? I'm sure his hair could have used some more blow drying or something that could have given me more time.
Ada quickly got out of her seat and was about to go upstairs, but she turned around looking puzzled and asked, "It's so early. Where are we going on a Saturday morning? and What do I need to wear?"
Jason and I exchanged glances, then burst into laughter. She gave us frustrated looks. We finally calmed down enough and I explained.
"Ada, It's 6 o'clock in the evening" I said chuckling.
She was surprised, "I slept all day?"
We both nodded and chuckled.
"Yes, now please go get dressed and wear whatever is comfortable but nice" Jason said getting a little impatient. They must be doing something important.
"Okay, so I'm guessin sweatpants are out of the question. " She laughed, then she looked at me and saw that I wasn't dressed to go anywhere.
"Aren't you coming with us?" She asked with a raised eyebrow.
I shook my head, smiled gently and replied, "No, I've got finish writing some music for the band, we have a gig this Saturday."
"Well, okay." She smiled back and ran up the stairs.
Jason sat in the chair next to me and sighed. I leaned back in my chair to see what he was wearing. He was wearing a blue and white plaid polo shirt with white shorts, and a pair of white Nike tennis shoes with the blue check mark. If anything, Jason was a matchy person. I finally cleared my throat sat back up.
"So where are you taking her?" I asked.
He smirked and answered with pride. "I'm taking her on a picnic on the hill that we used to play on as kids. and I want to get there before the sun sets."
Okay now I was being nosy, "Why before then?"
He opened his mouth to answer but she in she came walking. What was it with everybody interrupting everything today?
She was wearing a pink sundress that came just a little above her knees. It complimented her olive skin. She also wore pink sandals that completed her dress.
"Is this okay?" She asked timid and biting her bottom lip.
My eyes were wide and Jason was smiling.
She started to freak, "What? It's wrong itsn't it? I knew I should have chosen something else."
She started heading up the stairs again when Jason caught her hand and stopped her.
