Meeting the King 1

Alexis pov:

I heard voices coming from different directions. I had to open my eyes and see who were making so much noise.

Immediately I opened my eyes, I had to shut them back. "Switch off the light bulb Sam. I'm awake" I groaned.

"Finally she's awake. Cole take the cold water back we no longer need it" Someone said.

I opened my eyes instantly. "Who are you, what am I doing out here alone. Wait, where am I?" My heart was beating so fast, I thought it would leap out of my chest. I forced myself up but I felt dizzy so I just sat down back on the muddy ground.

'We ran away, remember?' Summer asked.

'.....'

'Oh Yes, I remember now.' I said sadly. 'That will not change the fact that I have a splitting headache and I didn't die. What happened'

Summer sighed, 'You tripped when that wolf jumped on you and hit your head on a stone. I made your heart beat slower so that they would think you will still die and they could leave you alone.'

I laughed... not out loud, they would think I am crazy. 'Idiots, and they believed.'

'Yes, they did. They were even argu-' she was cut off.

I felt a hand on my face. "Did just slap me?" I asked rubbing my face trying to ease the pain.

"Yes I did just slap you. Were you even listening to what I was saying?" He asked. I just nodded.

"You are trying to play smart right. Okay, what was the last sentence I made" He asked.

I tried to remember but couldn't since I was listening. "um... You said well asked 'Were you even listening to what I was saying'" I tried to imitate his voice but failed miserably.

His face turned so red, he look like a tomato with the body of a human. I was waiting for steam to come out of his ears.

'Always so funny' Summer rolled her eyes.

'I am not, I am just stating the fact.' I said trying not to burst into laughter.

"We will see where your attitude takes you when I take you to my alpha." He smirked.

"One question. What pack am I in right now" I asked feeling very conscious.

"You are currently sitting on the Royal pack grounds" He said and laughed evilly.

I gulped, my throat was so dry, I needed water. I started crying, "Please don't take me to him. He will kill me." I begged but he didn't look bothered.

"Grab her" he ordered, that was when I noticed two guys, two very handsome guys coming towards me.

'This is not the time, Alex' Summer said rolling her eyes again.

'If you don't stop rolling your eyes it will get stuck at the back of your brain.' I said and laughed mentally.

'You are so stupid'

'What? I am close to dying, so I want to have fun teasing you'

Tears were flowing freely out of my eyes as I was being dragged to my death. 'We won't die okay' Summer said trying to console me. I did not reply because I knew that I was not going to survival.

'Alex?'

'yes'

'Promise me that when we get there you will be that little six year old girl again before those monsters turned you into this. It will come in handy' she said.

I didn't want to question her so I just left it alone. 'I promise' I replied as I was getting closer.
