"i miss the thought of a forever, you and me, but all you're missing is my body."-
Sophie
"You can't sleep all day, you've got to get up and start with the sunshine." My mom says, opening the curtains to get the sunlight in my room. I groan and roll over to block the light from my eyes. "I don't feel well, leave me be." I tell her and swat my hand as a signal to get her to leave. "Oh, Sophie. You need to get up and get your laundry. I'm getting lunch started too!" Her voice sounded cheery at the end while she slammed my door in the process.
My head ached from the sound. I opened my eyes and saw a water bottle on my nightstand, I reach for it but it ended up falling on the ground when my finger tips touched the side of it. "I guess that's motivation to finally get out of bed." I whisper to myself, moving the covers off my upper body.
Leaning over the bed, the water bottle laid next to a beer bottle. I groan and grab both of them and sit upright. I let out a light sigh as I looked over a large group of bottles that sat around my desk. I swung my legs out from the blankets and began the walk of regret to the empty box of beer.
I moved the mouse and looked at the monitors to see what happened last night. Twitch, Fortnite, and Discord were opened on the screens in front of me. There were messages from Bordie and Toby early this morning asking to play a few games, the two were in the main Discord chat but I waited to join as there were a lot of things I had to pick up and clean first.
A knock came from my door and it opened to show my sister Alice bringing in a basket of my clothes. "I was told to bring them up, now I know why." She chuckles while walking in and setting the clothes on my bed. "Lunch is done too." She tells me and slams the door before leaving the room. I held my head and closed my eyes then grabbed the water bottle from in front of me.
I stood up from my computer chair and opened the door to go downstairs. Sound from the television echoed through the small family room as I walked through into the kitchen. Alice walked past me and smirked as she continued into the family room. I gave her a glance but continued towards my mom.
"You slammed the door on purpose didn't you?" I ask my mom as she hands me a plate of food. A smile spread across her face. "I have no idea what you're talking about." She says then goes back to fixing her own plate of food. I shuffled back up the stairs to my room and shut the door softly behind me.
I set my lunch next to the keyboard and pulled the chair out from the desk to sit down. Before I did, I cleaned up the rest of the beer bottles and put them in the semi-empty box next to me. Beer was cleaned but I left my laundry to do later. Bordie and Toby were still on Discord so I quickly joined them.
"What's up bitches?" I ask them both. "Finally, I thought you died or something last night." Bordie joked but I nodded, then realized she couldn't see me. "Luckily I didn't drink it all in one sitting." I state. "Oh because that makes it better." Toby basically shames me for drinking but I know he does it because he cares.
"Yes that makes it better cunt." I say and we all laugh. "I'm assuming you're both playing Fort-nut." I joke but Toby says, "Nahh. Counter-strike, Cam and Mason are gonna play with us for a bit too. You good with that?" I roll my eyes at Mason's name.
Mason and I don't get along and the only reason is because he's immature and he isn't looking for a serious relationship. Unlike everyone else, I live in Geelong and only a couple of streets down from him. I've known Mason for awhile and we only got closer because we're friends with everyone else. Despite that, I kind of despise him...only a little though.
