"Do you ever think about what your life would be like if we didn't meet?" I ask Mason, afraid of the answer that might follow. He took a deep breath and laughed, "I think I wouldn't be this happy." I look to him and sigh.
His glossy eyes told the truth and I let go of a sigh that I didn't realize I was holding it. "Now I know that's not just the marijuana talking." I say and he let's out a hearty laugh, a laugh that has always filled my heart since day one.
