To be honest with you, I don't have the words to make you feel better. But I do have the arms to give you a hug, ears to listen to whatever you want to talk about, and a heart; a heart that is aching to see you smile again

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I saw the outline of a . . . mountain lion. I screamed as loud as I could. Parzo ran like never before and I just closed my eyes and held on. Not the best idea but I wasn't exactly thinking.
Parzo picked up his second wind and ran even faster, my balance was slipping and if I fell the mountain lion would be there to catch me. . . and eat me.
Parzo quickly balanced me, and kept galloping. We galloped for minutes and sweat was starting to show on Parzo's body but the lion was not going away.
The next seconds were horrible. Parzo slipped and fell, I lost my balance but Parzo didn't and flew back up and as he started to gallop again I fell, smashed my head on a rock and darkness filled the light.
~~~~~

I woke up unaware of my surroundings, as I looked around I saw Parzo grazing near a tree, I saw another horse near Parzo and I everything else was dark. Even though the moon was bright it was hard to picture everything.

I tried to sit up, but everything hurt. Two hands supported my back and I jumped back pain surging through me. "Help!" I croaked. Probably sounding like a weak child, who couldn't look after herself. "hey, hey. Shh" said a soothing voice. "Who are you" I said a little more coldly then I wanted. "Luke, Luke Hemmings" he answered.

"Hi." I said slowly moving back next to Luke. "And you are?" He asked smiling. "Jayden, Jayden Smith" I mocked. We laughed and I felt more relaxed. "So where do you come from?" Asked Luke.

"Around here, moving though" I said anger surging through me remembering the argument with mum. "You?" I asked. "Well down in Lancock, but my mum as a holiday house up here." Luke answered. Luke was cute -- really cute.

Excitement surged through me, that's were we are moving to. "So where are you moving to?" He asks with a smile, it almost made me melt. "Lancock actually." I said looking at the ground, a piece of hair falling from my ear.

He smile and brushed it out of the way. I shifted. "Um" I said and he coughed. "I really should get going." I said as a look of hurt crossed my face, he detected it straight away. "You don't want to leave?" He raised an eyebrow. "Ah no, I mean I have to. Well yes, but I don't know" I stuttered then blushed. He laughed. He motioned for me to grab his hand and I took it.

He led me to my horse, and we mounted. "What's your horse called?" He asked me. "Parzo, Paz for short though" I answered. I love the way he was interested in me, I was intrigued about him too.

He smiled a genuine smile. "This is buster." He said. "He's not as manly as his name sounds though" Luke chuckled. I laughed too. We made our way to my house with a nice conversation about Lancock prep, his school and my soon to be school.

"Thanks for saving me" I said realising it sounded cheesy I covered it up by saying "cause I would have died otherwise."

Luke laughed and helped me down, even though I didn't need help. "Anytime" he answered sort of mysteriously. I smiled as how faces were so close, I should pull back but I can't, but he does which crushed me.

"Bye. Jayden" he answered mounting buster. "By. Luke" I basically whispered. Hopefully he heard me, but he defiantly saw me standing their grinning like an idiot.

~~~~~~~
I was walking Parzo into the stable and then low and behold, I saw my mother. "Jayden Bella Smith" said mum angrily crossing her arms. "Hey, mum" I squeaked. "Get inside, your grounded for a week young lady" growled mum turning around and walking inside.
"Damn Parzo" I said as I cleaned him up and put him in the stables with his feed. "Bye boy. Love ya" I cooed blowing him a kiss. I walk inside to see mum finishing up the dishes, but she stops at the sight of me. "What were you thinking?" scowled mum. "Wait you weren't"
"I'm sorry, but your the reason I did it!" I argued. "That's know reason for you to run off." Yelled mum. "Yes, uh. It kinda is" I said with sass. "Don't sass me young lady" growled mum. "Who was it" mum said continuing with the dishes.
"Who was who?" I lied. "The guy." Answered mum staring into my narrowed eyes. "Your seeing things again mum!" I answered almost laughing. "Shut up! I know what I saw." She screamed banging her hands on the counter, obviously sick of my attitude. "No you don't" I answered gritting my teeth, my face red and close to hers. "Leave me alone!" I yelled, running up the stairs and slamming the doors.
I slid down the back of the door sobbing, while running my hands through my hair.
