zach didn't know why he was here. jack only invited him to 'have fun' but zach wasn't having any fun watching jack and his boyfriend jonah makeout. zach wasn't having any fun navigating a dancefloor filled with sweaty, horny, teens. besides, zach was shorter than most people here so they all towered over him. zach just wanted to go home.
until he saw those beautiful, bright, ocean eyes. they held so much emotion, kindness, love and adoration. those gorgeous, sparkling orbs that belonged to his crush and the host of the party. maybe that was why jack successfully persuaded him you go. "are you lost? i can take you home if you're drunk,"
zach knew he was referring to his cheeks, they were always scarlet and he hated it. "n-no i'm not tipsy i just don't want to be here,"
"oh," daniel hummed, slipping his hand in zach's amd leading the blushing boy to the patio. "here, it's quiet,"
zach dat down by the poolside, sliping off his shoes and dipping his toes inside. "i'm zach and don't worry, i already know your name, daniel,"
daniel chuckled, of course zach knew his name, he was one of the most popular people in the school. but he was only famous for his looks and parties, nothing about his personality. daniel hoped zach was different, he didn't want daniel just for fame.
to daniel, zach seemed genuine. he only wished his intentions were true. so daniel and zach spent the night chatting until a tipsy jack inturrupted them. "zach," jack whined. "i wanna go home,"
zach sighed, it being his cue to leave. "sorry, dani, i have to go,"
"wait, zach!" daniel called out. "can i have your number?" daniel sheepishly asked while zach stood there like a deer in headlights, gasping in awe about what daniel said.
"why would you want my number?" zach murmured. "to keep in touch, duh," daniel giggled.
a lop-sided smile broke out on zach's face. "okay, my number is (xxx)xxx-xxxx,"
daniel grinned back at him and entered the number in his phone. "text you later, zachy,"
