Today I was with Liyah, we were planning and trying to get decorations right for an event she had to do. Liyah husband was a music a producer, so it was easy for her to get work when it came down to things like this.
"I was thinking maybe you should do this even Kayce because to be honest your a better planner and designer than me."
Shaking my head no "No, way Li besides I have to take care of the girls"
Rolling her eyes "Yes, Kayce you're going to do it! You're always with the girls. How about I keep the girls while you plan the baby shower?"
Finally giving in "Okay"
"Okay well you have a month, I'll tell Nipsey that I put you on the job to get his sister baby shower done."
"I should kill you for this"
She came and hugged me from behind "I love you too"
Her husband walked into the house with some bags.
"Hey, baby I thought you were going to the studio today?"
"No, I decided I wanted to stay home today and chill oh yeah Nip on the way too he bringing his sister."
"Okay, I needed to talk to them anyway about the baby shower."
"Wassup Kayce, how you and the girls been?"
"We are fine, how about you?"
"I'm good, aye tell Jay-me and him need to have a discussion." After that, he left the kitchen. Then there was a knock at the door. Liyah went to open, I got up and made me something to drink.
As soon as I closed the fridge I almost spit out my drink, it was Derek.
"I know that's not my girl Kayce." laughing I put my cup down and he gave me a big hug taking my feet off the ground.
"Omg, I haven't seen you since we graduating!!"
"I know I missed you, big baby." Finally putting me down we both started laughing.
"How have you been Derek?"
"I'm doing good man, I'm living life after we graduated I ran into some really good people so, here I am now a music producer. How have you been doing? " He shrugged after with a smirk.
"I've been great, I have two little munchkins now you might able to meet them when they get here from school later."
"That would be great to meet my nieces. I can't believe it we are all grown up living our lives now."
Smiling yeah "So, how are you and Camilla?"
His demeanor changed real quick "You don't know?"
Shaking my head no, I was puzzled. "No, I mean we were supposed to work on our friendship after all that happen but, I just decided not too it wasn't worth my time anymore."
"Well, after the baby with Justin, and we graduated we tried to work it out again but I found out she was sleeping around on me again so I broke it off were done for good."
Damn, all I could do was shake my head.
"It's all good though cause I have a baby on the way and I'm engaged to my lovely fiance Chrissy. Chrissy baby come here"
Walking towards us it was Chrissy, a really pretty woman.
"Baby, this is Kayce, Kayce this is my future wife Chrissy."
"Hey, nice to meet you" we shook hands.
"Hey, Derek talked about you before it's finally nice to meet you."
"Aye Derek lets go we go to head to the studio room."
"Alright, here I come. I'll let you girls chat it up we got work to do."
Liyah came from the living room and back to the kitchen where we were.
"It looks like you two met which is great, Kayce it's her baby shower that you're doing."
"Great, I guess we can get started since the men are hanging out."
We all got started with the baby shower plans, turns out its also a gender reveal too. After a while, Liyah had left to get the girls and Chrissy left with Derek to get some food. I was in the kitchen alone still working on some of the designs.
"Hey pretty," almost jumping up out my seat I realized it was the guy from the store that night I was crying.
"Omg, you scared me! What are you doing here?"
He started laughing and walking towards the other side of the counter.
"What you mean? I have been working with them in the studio I'm Nipsey and you must be the planner for my sister baby shower?"
Smiling nodding my head " Yeah, we got a lot of work to do though."
It got real quiet all of a sudden, I looked up and he was staring at me.
"You look good in pink, it suits you."
"And you are very bold talking to a married woman like that."
"I don't see a ring on your finger." after that, I just shut my mouth and stared at the paper I was drawing on."
"Aye," he walked over to me and put his finger under my chin, and brought my face up. Immediately, I got the chills.
"You, to pretty for that I was joking with you I know I don't know but I hate seeing a pretty woman down, so let me see you smile before I go back to the studio"
As soon as he said that my dumb ass starts smiling what the hell is wrong with me?

After that, he left the kitchen before I could say anything and the next thing you know the girls came and bust in the door running to me.

Leaving the meeting I went back to my office. Sitting at my desk I stared at the picture of my wife and kids. I knew I fucked up the best thing I have in life. The three woman I would die for. I know this isn't the end of Kayce and me. I can't even explain to my wife right now why I did the things I did I know it will hurt her even more.I feel less of man for everything that's happening right now. I wish I could take back everything I did wrong to my wife my family.
Bring me out my thoughts my phone started ringing.
"Hey, baby its Mia" scrunching up my face and looking down at the phone.
"Listen Mia, it's over I'm done with this I don't want you. I want my family."
"Well, I'm not going anywhere cause I'm pregnant."
