Chapter 3

It's been a busy week, with getting the girls to school, making sure they go to afternoon activities and making sure my household was good overall. Since I quit my job and basically became a stay at home mom, I always kept my self-occupied with my family and doing little things like decorating, designing for weddings or birthday parties. They were all just things I drew in a book and did in my spare time.

Today the kids and I were at my mom house. Mom decided to cook dinner and wanted us all over but of course, Jay had to work late.

"Kayce, where is that husband of yours? I know he loves when I cook? Have you been doing your wife duties at home sweetie?"

"Mom seriously, that's all you have to say everytime you see me? Have I been doing my wife duties? What kind of question is that? I swear you should have just married him instead."

Moving away from the stove she walked over to the counter and looked at me.

"What did you just say to me? You're still my child meaning I'm your mother so don't try to talk to me any kind of way."

"You know what, let me just tell you what going on. I think that Jay is cheating on me so I'm really not trying to hear you praise him like you always do."

Looking at me skeptical "Why do you believe that?"

"Mom, for the past couple of months this man has barely look and paid attention to me. He doesn't give the girls that much attention and he is barely home. Do you want to know something? He forgot our anniversary. How can my husband forget our anniversary? "

I was now standing frustrated with her always asking about him and never ask how I have been doing.

"You don't have nothing to say now do you? Your son in law may not be so perfect after all."

"Kayce, look I'm sorry if I offended you"

"Sorry?, well I'm sorry that I even came here tonight, the girls and I are leaving."

Walking to the living room to grab my purse and jackets "Girls go fix you a to-go plate and come to the car we are leaving."

Kissing my dad on the cheek goodbye, I went to go sit in the truck and wait for the girls to come out. Once the girls came out, they got in the car in the and knew not to ask questions when their mother was mad. While on the way home I called Liyah, I'm tired of this lingering on my mind it has taken a toll on me and I see its starting to affect the relationship I have with my family especially my daughters.

"Hey Liyah, I know its a school night but can the girls stay the night tonight? I will tell you about it later but can they please come over?"

"Of course, just let me know when you're outside"

Dropping the girls off, I was now heading to Jay's office. It was now or never right? Pulling up to the office, There were only two cars in the parking lot. Which is really very odd because I'm positive that twelve people can fit in two cars. Jay has a construction company, he has had it for many years so I know for fact how many people suppose to be here when they have to work overtime. I brought this man plenty of food and surprising him to know all of these things.

Once I got inside the building, surprisingly I saw Ms.Jackson still at the front desk. She looks just surprised as I did to see me.

"Hey, Jay is in his office right?"

"Yeah but let ca-"

"Oh no, Ms. Jackson that's okay I want to surprise him, but thank you."

Walking up there stairs to his office I heard a little shuffling like things moving around, getting closer I heard voices.

"Damn Tia baby, just like that"

"aaahhh fuck, make me cum daddy"

Opening the door all I could see was my husband naked with his back turned towards me, drilling this lady in from behind. Not hearing me walk in the room I slammed the door behind me and threw my purse on the couch. They both turned around about to panic when I finally got a glimpse of her face I couldn't believe who I was seeing. My eyes, please tell me they were deceiving me it was Natia. Without even blinking or thinking twice I ran around the desk and grabbed her by the hair and her slung her to the grown. Getting on top of her I repeatedly start to punch her in the face she then kicks me from in my head making me grab my head and giving her the opportunity to push me off. Once we both got up I swung on her again this time I had finally got my hand around her throat I was going to kill this bitch, she was gasping for air at this point. I felt a set of arms around me picking me up but, really they were picking both of us up I refused to let her go so she was sliding up the wall while whoever it was picking up me up in the air.

"Kayce let her go your going to kill her!!" Hearing Jay voice I let her go and then got out of his hold.

"HOW COULD YOU FUCKING DO THIS TO ME!! I KNEW YOU WERE CHEATING AND IT WAS WITH THIS BITCH NATIA" without thinking I threw my shoe at him and hit him directly in the head.

"You fucking piece of shit you disgust me I'm done with this shit," turning back around to look at Natia "Bitch I'm not done with you everytime I see your ass I'm going to beat your ass EVERY FUCKING TIME DO YOU UNDERSTAND ME HOE?"

Nodding her head fast looking scared to death. Pretending to grab my purse off the chair I quickly picked up the chair and threw it at him. I then grabbed my purse and left quickly. As soon as I got in the truck and cranked it up I looked in my review mirror seeing Jayden run outside screaming my name. I proceed to put the car in reverse and run straight into him but he felled before I could actually do it.

At this point, I was furious driving and crying on the way. Almost getting into an accident I had to pull over at the gas station to get myself together for about fifteen minutes. Hearing a tap at my window it was a guy, not sure what he wanted but I began to panic a little. Slightly putting the window.

"Are you ok pretty?" I didn't even notice that his car was parked right beside mines.

"Yeah I'm okay just a stressful day."

"You sure, cause I sat right here while you were crying the whole time, but if you say so I just hate seeing a pretty lady cry"

"Thank you, but I should get going to my kids at home." Finally getting a good look at him he was light skin with a hell of tattoos but he looks good. Lord, I got to go.

"Cool have a nice one pretty" He walked off and got in his car and left.

Once I got to the house I packed all of me and the girl's things. I heard the front door shut which made me even move faster than I was before.

"So you're just going to leave without even say anything? You not taking my kids away from me." Bringing more bags down the stairs he starts to follow me.

"You're not going to talk to me" still ignoring him he yanked my arm and then turned me around.

"Don't put your hands on me again Jayden, I told you the first time if I found out you were being unfaithful you could kiss this family goodbye. Jayden really Natia they bitch who fought over about you in high school? You know what I don't have shit else to say to you right now, I'll have the girls contact you tomorrow."

Without even trying to make me stay or say something else like he sorry or something he let me walk away.
