Is it to late?

Grant and LA are getting married. But, Candice is invited. Will she tell him that she is in love with him at the wedding or let him make a massive mistake?

Candice POV
This morning I woke up, with a fake smile on my face. I had to put on the show the whole day for this wedding. I just wanted one more night, one more laugh, or one more dinner with him. But today he was going to marry someone else. This is going to be a hard day. I start my day with a run and some coffee. I stop at the coffee shop where Grant and I had first starting talking, outside of the set. I get my usual and then run back home. The wedding starts at three so I have a while. I watch some TV for an hour and then I get a text.

Soon enough I get a knock at the door. I jump off the couch and open the door.

Candice: Hey

Grant: Hi!

I jump into his arms and he spins me in a circle. He carries me over to the couch and then puts me down.

Grant: I missed you!

Candice: Grant, we saw each other yesterday.

Grant: I know that's too long.

Candice: What's gonna happen when you're married, and you will have to spend time with your wife?

Grant: She won't mind me seeing you. She knows you're my best friend.

Candice: I have a question.

Grant: Shoot.

Candice: How did you know that you wanted to spend the rest of your life with LA?

Grant: When I see her I get lost in her perfect brown eyes. My stomach gets filled with butterflies every time I see her. She's the only person i want to see when i wake up or i am confused or sad, I know I can go to her for anything. Like you.

Candice: Is she your best friend?

Grant: Uh, yeah.

Candice: Grant, are you sure that your talking about LA?

Grants phone starts ringing.

Grant: Candice, I'm sorry, its LA. She'll get mad at me if I don't answer. She's really flustered today.

Candice: Yeah, no problem.

Grant: Hey sweetheart....Yeah, I'm almost done shopping.I'll be home in about an hour to get ready...yep I got the cupcakes you wanted...yes I found a dog sitter for the honeymoon. Okay, Ill see you later...yep, love you. Bye.

Candice: Shopping?

Grant: Yeah...she doesn't know I'm here.

Candice: Well, then you should go. Don't want to keep your lovely bride waiting.

Grant: I can stay here for a little longer.

Candice: Grant, you should go. I'm sorry but you're getting married today.

Grant: Fine. I'll see you at the wedding.

He walks towards the door and gives me a hug and a kiss on the cheek. We do our super secret handshake and I open the door to let him out.

Candice: Goodbye, best friend.

Grant: Bye, best friend. Love you!

Candice: Love you too, Grant.

I close the door and start to get ready.

Crap, I'm running late. I grab my heals and my purse and run out the door.

I get to the wedding and grab a set next to the cast members. We chat for a while until Grant comes up to talk to us.

Grant: Hey guys! I'm so glad you could make it.

He looks at me, smiles and then makes and sad face. No one notices except me.

He then walks to the alter and the music starts.

LA looks beautiful in her dress. She's looking at Grant and I notice that he's looking at me. I wave and he smiles. She walks to Grant and grabs his hands.

The Offcient starts.

Officiant: Andrea, repeat after me.

LA: I Andrea LA Thoma take you Thomas Grant Gustin as you are,loving who you are now and who you are yet to become. I promise from this day forward to be grateful for our love and our life, to be generous with my time, my energy and my affection, to be patient with you and with myself, to fill our life with adventure and our home with laughter, to encourage you to grow as an individual, and inspire you to do so, and to love you completely. These things I pledge before you, our friends and our family.

A tear drops from my eye.

Keiynan: Candice, you okay?

Candice: Yeah. I always cry during weddings.
I was lying, I'm crying because the love of my life is getting married to someone else.

Officiant: Thomas, repeat after me.

Grant: I Thomas Grant Gustin take you...

Grant looks at me.

LA: Andrea...

Grant: Oh, um. Andrea...

He looks at me again.

LA: LA Thoma.

Grant: I'm sorry I can't do this.

He runs out of the church. I get a text.

Please come. I'm outside your car.

Okay, I'll be right there.

I get up and I walk out the door.

I run to my car.

Candice: Grant, what's going on?

Grant: I don't want to marry LA. I realize I have stronger feelings for someone else, that I have been holding in for too long. Candice, I love you. Not like a best friend. Like, I want to spend all my time with you. I miss you when i'm not with you. I cant't see you with anyone else, but me. I don't know what i ahve been thining these last few years. I want to be with you. Not anyone else.

Candice: Grant, what made you change your mind?

Grant: This morning, the way you listened to me and didn't judge for a mistake i was going to make. I knew I liked you, but i pushed it off because someone like you could never love someone like me. But i don't want to be trapped or stuck with a person I don't love as much as you.

Candice: Grant, I don't know what to say. I'm not going to deny that I like you too, but you where just about to get married to someone else. I thought this was never going to happen.

He grabs my hand.

Grant: I love you, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to try this.

Candice: I want to try this too.

Grant kisses me and I wrap my hands around his neck.

Candice: You have no idea how many times I wanted to tell you to not make this decision. How many times, I wanted to jump into your arms and kiss you uncontrollably.

Grant: Well now you can do that...
