Synopsis
Heather and Alex both had terrible lives. Heather’s parents verbally abused her. Alex is bullied excessively. When they both reach their breaking points they act out which brings them together at Darkwoods Hospital’s Teen Psychiatric Ward. Follow their journey of love to recovery.
Prologue
Mackenzie’s POV
I’m fed up. I’m fed up with all this crap I get from my parents. How they call me “stupid” and “retarded”. They always seem to come up with a way to put me down. It hurts. It really does. And it’s starting to get to me. I’ve reached my breaking point. I’ve stopped talking to pretty much everyone.
Alex’s POV
I’m tired of the kid’s and even teachers at school putting me down. I hate how they call me gay and retarted or a fag. It’s getting to me. When my parents ask me how school goes I have to choke back tears and say it was fine. I’m lying to my own parents! How could I do that to them? I can’t tell anyone! I’m going crazy. I’ve reached my breaking point
