I noticed the boy had a confused look on his face when I saw him.

Did he know I was coming?

As I opened the door to the room, I was instantly drawn to the huge king size bed. There were two side tables with gray lamps on each one. I noticed that there was two doors inside the room slightly close together. I opened the one on the right, only to see a giant walk-in closet. There were many shelves and hangers. I opened the door on the left and was excited to see a bathroom. I've always wanted a bathroom inside my room.

As I walked through the big restroom, I noticed another door on the side of the sink.

"How many doors does this place have?" I said quietly to myself.

I walked closer to the door, I hear the same music from before coming from that room but lowered down

Wait.. Both bedrooms are connected to the one restroom? What the hell? I've never seen anything like this before. Weird. I thought to myself.

I decided not to try to open the door because what if that kid was in there.

*Luke's POV*

I walked to opened my bedroom door because I heard my parents come home. I don't even know where they went earlier this morning. They just left me a note saying 'they'll be back later'. As I was about to open my door I went to my stereo and lowered down the music. My parents hated when I had the music loud. I walked over to my door and grabbed my phone after it vibrated in my pocket. As I walk out looking through my notifications, I notice a movement in front of me. I lift my head only to see a boy opening the door to one of the guest rooms. He looks at me with his hazel green eyes. I furrow my eyebrows with confusion. He looks back down to to his bags he had and shuts the door to the room.

Um, what's going on? Some stranger just was randomly in my house? I questioned.

I headed down the stair case, then walked toward the kitchen. Once I walked in I immediately started asking questions.

"Erm, who was that, and why was he in the house?" I asked my parents who were smiling like there was nothing wrong.

"We wanted it to kinda be a surprise" my mother chuckled.

"Some random in our home? That sure is a surprise. Anyways, who is he?"

"His name is Ashton. His parents recently died in car accident, and he was put into an orphanage. No one in Australia wanted to take him into their home, so we decided we would. Just until they find a home for him in there!" She replied.

"Why? WAIT! What the fu-reak! He's from Australia?" I interrogated

"Yes, see, I knew you'd be surprised."

"Yup! I am! I can't believe you didn't tell me this." I spoke loudly, lifting my arms to the air.

"You should go introduce yourself, Luke." She suggested, "In matter of fact, go get him, dinner is about done."

"Well, that was quick." I mumble to myself as I slowly walk up the stairs to get this 'Ashton' kid.

As I reach the door to the room. I take a couple of seconds before I knock.

I quietly knock on the door, hearing a little bit of shuffling in the room.

As he opens the door, my eyes instantly shoot to his bare torso.

"Umm......" I trail off. I instantly look back up feeling super embarrassed, "I'm Luke!" I say and his cheeks are red. I shoot my hand out and he does the same. "Um, dinner is almost ready so... Come down when you're ready."

God, why do I have to be so awkward? I mentally ask myself.

"Okay, I'll come down in a bit." He says. My eyes widen because of how strong his accent was. I've never really met anyone who had a Australian accent.

"Okay." I simply say and walk off without saying anything. What the hell is wrong with me? Now he probably thinks Im rude.
