Ch.5: Date Night

Nayeon's pov

I woke up to the sound of laughing. When I opened my eyes I saw Dahyun and Jihyo giggling while aiming their phones at me.
"What are you guys doing?", I asked sitting up from the floor.
"Oh Y/n...", Jihyo said while making kissing noises as Dahyun laughed.
"Huh? What's going on?"
"You we're making out with your pillow", Jihyo said rolling around on Dahyun's bed.
"I was not!!", I said pouting.
"Oh really? Look at this", Dahyun said as she held out her phone to me.

I played the video and my cheeks immediately flushed from embarrassment. I threw the phone back to her and hid my face into the pillow.
"Ha going back to the pillow now ehh?", Momo said wiggling her eyebrows.
"Stop teasing me!"
"Okay we'll stop. But this video will stay with you forever", Dahyun laughed out as she got up and went to her closet.

She started to throw clothes everywhere, making a huge pile in the middle of the room. Jihyo, Momo, and I looked at her confused.
"Uhm... Dubu?", Momo called out.
"Yeah?"
"What are you doing?"
"Isn't it obvious, I'm trying to help pick out Nayeon's outfit"
"Oh shit! The date", I said panicking because I totally forgot.
"It's already 2:30!", Jihyo yelled as she divided into the clothes and started looking.
"I only have like 3 hours to get ready. I'm not going to make it"
"It's not gonna take you that long Nayeon. Chillax will ya?", Momo said flopping on the bed.
"I'm gonna get started on my makeup", I said rushing to the bathroom.
"Dang, she's whipped already", Dahyun chuckled and rolled her eyes.

Y/n's pov

"Y/n! We're here!", I heard Sana's voice shout through my house.
"Who do you mean by we?", I said walking towards my living room.
"Me, Tzuyu, and Mina"
"Oh no Jeong?", I asked.
"Sadly no. She's still mad about yesterday", Tzuyu said taking a seat on my couch.
"So you excited for your date?", Mina said poking my arm.
"I am, but.."
"Ugh what is it now Y/n?!?", Sana groaned while throwing her head back.
"It's just that what if during the date she finds out I'm a girl?"
"You're a flat chested twig, I don't think she'll find out"
"Gee thanks for your honesty Sana"
"Hey I'm not trying to be rude", She said with her hands up.
"It's fine. So why are you all here?"
"Wow do you not want us here?", Tzuyu pouted.
"Ehh well..."
"Y/ln!"
"I'm kidding guys", I said laughing a little.
"Okay, let's get you ready", Sana yelled running to my room.
"I thought you guys were just here to wish me luck?"
"Yeah that too", Mina said pulling me towards the direction Sana ran in.

"You need to look good, but not too good", Tzuyu said looking through my drawers.
"Like casual?", I asked.
"Yep that's the word", Tzuyu replied.
"Hmm... what were you thinking of wearing?", Sana asked being serious.
"A windbreaker with jeans"
"You basic bitch", Sana said handing me a bundle of clothes.
"Now try these on"
"Didn't picture you as a fashionista Sana"
"Shut up and go", She said pointing to my bathroom door.

I quickly ran to my bathroom and looked at the clothes. It was a simple outfit, something I would definitely wear but I don't know if it's first date material. I put on the outfit and stepped out. Their eyes immediately went to me. They looked me up and down which made me super uncomfortable and self conscious.
"Stop doing that", I said shuffling my feet in place.
"Doing what?", They all said at once.
"Ugh nevermind"
"The outfit is good, but it's missing something", Sana added.
"How about this?", Mina said holding up a light blue hoodie.
"Oh my god that could work!", Tzuyu jumped and clapped.

I took the hoodie from Mina and put it on. It matched with the plain white shirt and black jeans I already had on.
"How do I look?"
"Girls I think our work here is done", Sana said with a smirk.
"Yay now you can leave", I said excitedly.
"Don't make me slap that pretty face of yours Y/n", Tzuyu warned.
"Quit threatening everyone Chou", Sana laughed patting Tzuyu's head.
"We should get going though", Mina said looking at her phone.
"Why? What time is it?"
"Almost time for your date", Mina answered.
"Oh god I don't think I'm ready", I said holding my chest.
"Deep breaths kid. You're gonna do great...Well hopefully"
"Sana!", Tzuyu yelled lightly punching Sana.
"I'm just saying the truth"
"Y/n doesn't need your negativity right now", Mina said dragging the two girls out of my room.
"We're going now! Good luck!", I heard them yell and then the front door slam shut.
"I guess I should tell her where to meet up at", I said grabbing my phone.
I texted Nayeon the address of this Italian restaurant not that far from my house and she responded with an okay and a smiley face. I just grinned at the text for awhile but then realized it's already 5:30.
"Ahh I need to go now", I panicked grabbing my car keys and running outside to my car.

Nayeon's pov

"You look great. Stop worrying", Momo said getting annoyed.
"Are you guys sure?", I asked and they all nodded their heads in agreement.
"Just go! You're giving me a headache", Dahyun said rubbing her temple.
"I still have time"
"Uhm no you don't", Jihyo said showing me her phone.
"It's 5:50!! Oh no I gotta go!"
"Woohoo finally", Momo said relieved.
"I hate you all", I said taking my purse and left Dahyun's house.
I got in my car and drove to the restaurant Y/n told me to meet him at. When I finally got there I saw him waiting outside. I started to feel really nervous as I approached.
"Hey, you look beautiful"
"Oh thank you", I said smiling.
"You ready to go inside and get our grub on?", Y/n said doing a little dance with his hands.
"Yeah only if you stop that", I laughed.
"Aw you don't like my dance?"
"Who said I didn't like it?", I grinned as I headed inside.
"Hey wait for me!", Y/n said following behind me.

We were seated in a booth by a window and I started to look through the menu.
"So how'd you find this place?", I asked while lifting my head up from behind the menu.
"You've never been here!?", He said surprised and I just shook my head at his question.
"Well my friends and I ate here a lot when we were in high school. It became our regular hangout after school and the food is amazing"
"Wow so it's that good?"
"Yeah trust me it is", He said with a little chuckle.
"How about you?"
"What about me?", I said confused.
"Like what's your story?"
"There's not much to tell"
"There's always something, c'mon tell me please?", He pleaded.
"Uhm I'm taking college courses online and I'm basically a workaholic", I said with a shrug.
"You explain yourself bad"
"I'm not really use to talking about me specifically"
"Well it's okay. I'll just get to know you better", Y/n said with a smile.
I gulped at the thought of him knowing my whole story, my friends don't even really know anything about me. My eyes went back to the menu and after a few seconds a waitress came to our table and took our order.

Y/n's pov

Our food finally came and we started to eat. Her and I made conversation and talked for quite a long time. I'm glad that I made her laugh a few times with my stupidity but to every good night it has to come to an end. Once we finished with our food, I paid the bill after Nayeon and I basically had a silly fight over who is paying.
"I had a great time Y/n. Maybe we can do this again sometime?", She said shyly which I thought was adorable.
"Yeah, I would like that"
"I should get going. It's really late"
"Can I walk you to your car?", I asked.
"Sure"

We walked to her car that was parked in the restaurants lot. She stood next to the car then faced me.
"Have a goodnight", Nayeon said sweetly then kissed my cheek.
"You too", I said with a blush on my face as she got into her car.
I smiled and waved goodbye to her. She waved back and slowly drove past me. My eyes widened at what I saw in her backseat. It was a car seat. I stood there thinking of the worst until my phone vibrated in my pocket. I looked at the screen and it was Sana calling.

Hey are you okay Y/n?

                I think Nayeon has a kid...
