In the car...

Y/N-"Where is your university?

Jungkook-"On the way."
I just nod my head and look out the window.

Arrive at school...

Y/N- "Alright Bye Jungkook. Thanks for dropping me off!"
I turn around thinking he'll take off, but instead I hear the car door closing and him walking out.

Jungkook-"Didn't your mom tell you? I'm a transfer student starting today."

Y/N-"Really? Okay then, got to go, bye!" I said escaping him.

Jungkook- "Bye-"

How come I never knew about this? I'm always told everything last.

Weeks pass and I talk to Jungkook a lot more than I thought I would. I've also noticed how many of the same classes Soomin took with him. I got curious and kinda jealous but kept it to myself many times.

Y/N-"Soomin, let me ask  you a question."

Soomin-"I wanted to ask one too, but since you said it first, ask."

Y/N-"What do you think of Jungkook? Do you like him? Be honest."

Soomin-"He is the sweetest guy I ever met. He's cute too! I don't like him though."
I felt relieved she didn't like him.

Y/N-"Wow, so much excitement."

Soomin-"I don't like him, I love him!"
My heart dropped a thousand times.
I don't even like him, why do I feel like this?
Soomin-"About my question. It's the same as yours."
I put on a fake smile and show a happy face.

Y/N-"You are right that he is sweet, but he is not my type." I lied.

Soomin-"oh okay, so I can have him right?"

Y/N-"...yeah."

Soomin-"I'll go now, bye.

My heart starts to ache. I start fearing he will pick Soomin instead of me. like everyone always does. If he doesn't pick me it's fine. I can stay focused on my studies. I can also live freely, without having to waste time on another person.
