Me Lee- Girls, meet Jeon Jungkook." Mom said.

The 'Jeon Jungkook' stood up and bowed. He fixed his eyes on me again before sitting back down.

Jungkook- hello, my name Jeon Jungkook. Nice to meet you" he says as he takes a quick glance at me.

Soomin- "Hello, nice to meet you too Jungkook! My name is Lee Soomin. Call me anything you'd like. This is my little, introverted sister" she says while trying to get the attention back to her.

y/n- "H-hello my name is Y/N" I said trying to keep my voice from shaking.

Ms. Lee- "He is the son of the Jeon family. Heir to their company. His father wants to see him get married before he retires.  He also wants a grandson to keep the company going too. Jungkook will pick from one of you to marry" She said assertively.
I look at Soomin, who is feeling more than confident. She gives me a reassuring smile and mouths how fun.

y/n- "S-soomin will marry h-him. I don't need to be married right now" I say trying to disappear from this whole situation.

Jungkook's facial expression changed to disappointment.

Ms Lee- No, it's Junkook's choice."

It soon got quiet after that. My mother was mad at how disrespectful I was being. Jungkook got uncomfortable and thought it was very troublesome to be here so he left. My mother got disappointed and told me to be better next time while Soomin sat there and chuckled.

She's the oldest. Why can she just marry him? What if he picks me instead of her? I thought.

My mom told us she was thinking to just marry Soomin off to Jungkook but Jungkook refused and wanted to see both of us first. This whole thing, from the beginning, sounded messy. How can marriage just start off by a dirty deal like this? There's no love or true feelings in this! It's cursed!

Later that day...

Soomin- Y/N, I don't get you. How could you not like a guy that's as handsome as him?" she asked.

I looked at her before responding "You're right he's handsome, but I don't want to be involved in a marriage with a guy I don't even know. What if he's not who everyone thinks he is. Looks aren't everything."

She agreed and told me to wait. Only time could tell what was going to happen next.
