The Sorting

I dozed off looking everywhere possible, this place is amazing! Then suddenly the doors opened, I ran in front with the boys next to me, we walked in like, you know those movies where they walk in slo-motion and it's like really cool? Yeah, we walked in like we owned the school, why? Because that's who we are. We all had serious faces with a smirk on them, and when we got up to the stage we all silently laughed. "When I call your name please come up and sit down, and I will place the hat upon you. Sirius, Black!" Professor McGonagall called first. We all padded him on the back and he walked up with his shoulders back and his head held high, we all laughed at the sight. And it took a few minutes until the hat called "GRYFFINDOR" A table, I'm guessing the Slytherin table, all whispered. Well I mean who ever thought a Black would be in Gryffindor. I then dozed off, my anxiety starts kicking in. What if I trip and fall and everyone laughs at me? What if I don't even get sorted and have to be sent back home? Do people even want me here? Do people even like me? What if everyone hates me and the rest of the Maurders stop being my friend? "Blythe, Snow!" I gulp, I start walking up towards the stool making sure I don't slip and fall, and I finally sit down and feel the hat above me, it starts talking. "A lot of nerve I see, and very brave! This is seems like a very easy decision, oh but what do I see here? Very Cunning and ambitious, and you are very intelligent. This is very hard, very hard indeed. Which one do you think?" The hat asks me "Gryffindor?" I say "very well, GRYFFINDOR!" I smile and hop down to the Gryffindor table sitting next to Sirius "Well well well, look who got into Gryffindor." He smirks "Oh yeah? Surprise surprise! Look who didn't get into Slytherin." I laugh so does he. "Remus, Lupin" we both turn our heads towards Moony, the hat was on him for about ten or so minutes, the hat was deciding between Ravenclaw and Griffindor, until it finally called "GRYFFINDOR" me and Sirius stand on the bench "YEAH REMUS WOOHOO!" We both yell. He walks over and sits across from us with a very red face. Me and Sirius laugh and high five each other. "James, Potter" I snicker until it called "GRYFFINDOR" It didn't take very long but I did have to say "JAMSIE BOY GET OVER HERE!" His face turns red and walks and sits next to me, He nudges me, I just giggle. "Guys What should we do for Wormtail?" I asked the three boys, I nodded at the plan "PETER LOVER BOY COME SIT BY US!" We all yell at the same time, he squeals and sits next to Moony, we all laugh. After the sorting and Professor Dumbledore says his speech there is a whole bunch of food placed in front of us. I look around with wide eyes, I grab the sweet potatoes and some rolls with some meat "This is amazing!" I think I said but I think it sounded more like "Mfmfmfmhmfhmfh" they all laugh. After that was desert and I was definitely full by the end of that. We got up and walked up the stairs with the Prefects.
