My tail slowly curled up into her lap as I pulled my chair closer. Her ears were pressed down hard against her hair as she hid into her hands. My hand slowly reached out and touched her shoulder.

"But I'm here now. I'm here with you. I'm ok. You're ok. And we're together now. We might be the last Nekos, but I'm glad I'm one of the last Nekos with you." She slowly looked up at me and wiped her moist cheeks. A small smile came to her face and my tail flicked over her legs. She then looked down and took it in her hold before stroking it. I closed my eyes as I let her stroke my tail before she tugged it forward.

Looking at her now, she suddenly wrapped her arms around my neck before pulling me close. My cheeks flushed red as she pressed herself against me. Her tail slowly slithered around my waist and I grinned widely to myself.

"I'd rather be one of the last Nekos with you as well." She whispered making my heart race pick up. Her scent became rather powerful because of how close she was to me. My ears perked forward ask wrapped my arms back around her. Her smell was driving me insane and she didn't know it. Subconsciously, I began to rub the side of my face against her hair as I nuzzled closer to her. "Harry." She whispered as my tail wrapped around hers.

"Don't leave me." I whispered inhaling her scent deeply.

"I won't." She giggled before slowly pulling away. I took her tail in my hold and inspected it. This beautiful pattern of grey speckles caught my eyes the whole way up her tail. She just watched me contently. That was before the dining hall door slammed open causing us to shoot our heads towards the sound. Alex stood there panting with a concern swept across his face. Natasha took her tail back and stood to her feet. "What is it Alex? What's wrong?" He caught his breathe and straightened his posture as I came to my feet.

"That boy. He's gone." My eyes widened and I stepped forward as Natasha looked at me worried.

"Louis..." I whispered and Natasha looked back at Alex.

"Have you checked his bedroom? En suite? The house?!" Natasha pressured and Alex nodded frantically.

"He's gone. Even Ashley cannot find him!" I suddenly ran from the room and up towards the stairs.

"Harry!" My name was called but I ignored it, to desperate to find Louis. "Harry!" The yell was closer and a hand suddenly gripped my tail. I looked back to see Natasha looking at me with narrowed eyes.

"I have to find Louis!" I yelled back though she tugged my tail closer towards her.

"Calm down Harry-

"I can't calm down while best friend is missing!" The panic mode began to finally settle in.

"Listen to me! If Louis truly is missing, you can't just go running off! He could be anywhere. We need a game plan." I slowly calmed my heartbeat through my chest and she slowly let go of my tail. "Tell me, does he have a hobby? Where does he usually like to spend his time? Reading? Writing? Outside? Tell me." I shook my head and looked down.

"He spends his time with me. That's why we're best friends." My voice became hoarse at the end and Natasha's eyebrows furrowed.

"Then he won't be far." She stepped past me and up the hall. Stiffening her body to a stop, her tail froze in mid-air and her ears stood up. I raised an eyebrow as she stood still watching her. Everything was silent, that is until her ear suddenly turned into the direction beside her. Facing against the wall. "He's outside." She whispered and turned before grabbing my hand and running us down the stairs.

"H-how do you know?!" I yelled as we came out the back door.

"Instinct!" She yelled back and dragged us towards the forest. I tightened my hand on hers and ran beside her as came to a stop.

"What t he he'll is he doing out here?" I asked angrily at my idiotic friend as Natasha listened once again. Her ears perked forward and her tail flicked across her thighs.

"Through there!" She ran forward with me following her until we came to a sudden stop in front of a large tree. "His trail ends here. I don't understand." She said and looked back at me. My eyes watered as I looked around.

"Louis! LOUIS WHERE ARE YOU?!" I screamed as I heard my voice echo the forest.

"HARRY!" I heard him call back as my heart leapt. Immediately looking up, I saw Louis waving frantically at me as he clung to the huh up tree.

"WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING UP THERE?!" I screamed coming to the base of the tree.

"YOU LEFT ME ALONE AND I GOT BORED!" That boy is such an idiot.

"How do we get him down?" I asked Natasha frantically as she furrowed her eyebrows.

"Wait here." She said and ran off from the tree and backwards towards the house. I waited a few minutes before she returned with her bow and arrow.

"What could you possibly do with that?!" She hooked the equipment around her back and gave me a reassuring look.

"Trust me." She whispered before climbing up the tree. Her nails clung into the bark and she came to the first branch. Like when we were on the tree outside her window, she flung herself up the branches until she came beside Louis. Please be safe.

{Natasha's POV}

Finally coming up beside Louis, he looked at me wide eyed. I stood up straightened and balanced out before hod, king my arm out. "Take my hand." I said and he shook his head.

Are you crazy?! We'll fall if I do!" I shook my head and stepped forward. My hand gripped around his shoulder and he tensed as I encouraged him to his shaky feet.

"We won't. Trust me." I reinstated while staring into his eyes. He blinked back before nodding and slowly letting go of the tree. His hands immediately wrapped around me making me stumbled back. He yelled out in panic and I stabled our feet as I held his sides, "I've got you Louis. Clam down." He breathed heavily into my neck as I slowly took my equipment out. Turning around I got out my rope and attached it to my arrow. "Keeping holding on tightly to me." I said as he pushed his body into mine from the back.

Aiming my arrow for another stable tree, I sighed and let it shoot out. Hitting my target, I smiled and got out the rope left and put my bow through it. Then tying it to the tree, I gripped the sides of my bow and looked back at Louis.

"You ready?" He looked at what I had done and then at me wide eyed.

"Are you crazy?!" He screamed making me chuckle and turn to face forwards.

"A little." Then our feet left the tree as I pushed off of our stability.
