(A/N- Here is a lovely update since I've been neglecting this book. This is for Savmarble.  Hope you like it!)

"You're being ridiculous!"

"I am?! What about you?"

Mila didn't actually know what had led to the comments that caused them to end up fighting. Maybe it was the fact that they had both been down sleep and stressed over final projects that were coming up. Maybe it was that Mike saw something that Mila didn't. Or maybe, just maybe, it was the fact that couples fight and after almost five months of pure bliss, it was needed. Especially after one of them spoke without thinking their words through. Things change when your relationship with a person does. While certain things are easy, new and more difficult emotions come into play complicating things just a bit. The pair hadn't ever fought when they were friends. They'd had their disagreements, but it's never led to where they were now. Both of their faces red with anger and annoyance while their voices raised a couple of levels. Neither one had seen the need to argue as friends due to the fact that, to them, nothing was ever so serious that an argument was needed. Sure, arguments between them and their other friends had happened, but never between the pair. They always kind of figured it was because they were just that close and then they got together. But now that feelings of love were involved, there were things to argue about and neither one was used to it.

Mila breathed out tossing her hands into the air. "I didn't do anything! All that happened was Brian came up to me from across the hall and said a couple of words to me. Nothing of any relevance and yet you had to make a stupid ass comment about it."

"He put his arm around you, Camila. Why would he do that if his words didn't have any relevance?" Mike questioned seeing the narrow eyed glance that his girlfriend offered him.

"What are you getting at, Michael? Are you trying to say that I am cheating on you or that my ex-boyfriend said something inappropriate to me? Do you honestly believe that I would either let him say anything like that to me or cheat on you?"

This time, it was Mike who threw his hands up into the air. "Did I say that? Why are you putting words into my mouth?"

"What else am I supposed to think when your silent to me and then ask if I 'had fun'? That's not something that screams 'innocent and loving comment'."

"He's your ex-boyfriend."

"Oh my god. I am aware of this! I didn't ask him to come up to me or to put his arm around me. Why are you being so difficult?" She asked shaking her head. "I'm over this conversation. When you're ready to get your head out of your ass, you know where I live and my number. Until then, leave me the hell alone."

Mike watched Mila stand up grabbing her backpack from beside her and head down the hill towards the lower ground. He knew she was pissed and a part of him didn't blame her. He was aware that his comment was uncalled for, but he was so...jealous seeing Brian put his arm around Mila. She wasn't Brian's girlfriend anymore, she was his. It also bothered him that whatever he had said to her caused Mila to shake her head and smile. Mike didn't even know what was said, just that he didn't like that her ex had made her smile the same way he does.

Feeling jealous was a whole new experience for Mike. The only other time he had remembered ever feeling like he had today was once he realized he liked Mila as more than a friend and had to watch her be in a relationship with Brian. It wasn't easy to watch that for months and not once be able to let anyone in. Now though, now they were the ones together and Brian couldn't just stay away. It pissed him off to no tomorrow that the guy couldn't just leave her alone. Everyone in their grade knew that Mike and Mila were together so it wasn't as if he had no idea. He just couldn't stand the idea that Brian would have the audacity to put his fucking arm around a girl he knew wasn't single. What the fuck was he playing at?
