You hold your hands over your ears as the thunder and lightning continue to Roar and Flash outside. You did not like the thunder and lightning not since the storm that hit while you were sailing on your family's fishing boat with your parents.

Flashback~
The weather had taken a turn for the worst the ocean waves crashing Tara the boat thunder and lightning roaring. A giant wave crashed against the boat smashing it into large rocks the boat breaking the boat apart. You still remember the harsh waves trying to drag you under water as you fight to stay above the crashing waves you thought you would surely die. By some miracle of a twist of fate that you survived holding onto a piece of wood from the destroyed boat. When you finally awoke you were in a large room with the woman who look like a nurse "your awake that's wonderful" the nurse says. "What happened where am I?" You ask panicking slightly. " calm down you are in the medical room in the Sindra Palace the King Sindra Sinbad had found you barely alive clinging to a broken piece of wood they brought you on board the ship and brought you back to the palace for treatment. If I may I ask what is your name?" The nurse explains asking the question. That's when everything comes back to you the boat the storm and your parents you take a few deep breaths trying to hold back all the Rushing emotions "my name is (Y/n)" you say. "Well (Y/n) try to get some rest and get your energy back I will let the king know that you are awake" the nurse says walking out of the room.

Flashback end~

The next day you met Sinbad you told him everything that happened and thanked him for saving your life he offered you to stay and you accepted having nowhere else to go. You begin training in sword fighting becoming one of his guards. Which leads us to now you had come with Sinbad as one of his guards to the Kou Empire but this stupid storm was bringing back bad flashbacks of that time on the boat during the storm you were terrified barely above a Mumble you're able to hear somebody knocking on the door and hear what seems to be Sinbad's voice. "(Y/n) (Y/n) you okay in there?" Sinbad asks. You don't respond still shaking and having flashbacks at that terrible day. Sinbad enters the room and sees you shaking under the blanket and quickly walks over to you "(Y/n) (Y/n) are you ok why are you shaking are you hurt?" Sinbad quickly asks with concern heavily laced in his voice. He places a hand on your back another flash of lightning suddenly goes off with the loud Clash of Thunder making you jump a little bit and Yelp in surprise and fear. Sinbad see's this and thinks for a second everything clicking in his head. "Oh (Y/n) sorry I didn't get it faster" Sinbad says softly. Sinbad gently picks you up only your head poking out from under the blanket and sitting you on his lap holding you close you still shaking. A little bit of time passing you're still shaking hearing the thunder and lightning crash and the waves hit against the boat Sinbad see's this and slowly begins to sing a song his mother would sing him when he was a child.

You think to yourself that you didn't know about Sinbad could sing and without realizing it and slowly begin to relax and ease up. Forgetting about the storm that's going on or at least blocking it out focusing on his singing. When Sinbad finishes singing he sees that you have relaxed. "Good you are not shaking so much" he says."I didn't know you could sing Sinbad" you say a little bit in shock. Sinbad blushes a little bit putting one hand behind his neck and scratching it a bit embarrassed what keeps one hand around you in a hug you still in his lap. "Well when I was little I had a fear of storms as well my mother used to sing that song to me and it would always calm me down so I thought it would help you as well" Sinbad says still a little bit flustered.
"Thanks Sin" you smile and rest your head against his chest. Sinbad smiles " of course anytime (Y/n) a man should be able to comfort and protect the one he loves....." Sinbad says then suddenly freezing up realizing what he just said and turns red. Your heart skips a beat hearing those words from the womanizer of the seven seas. "Sin is that how you really feel?" You ask still a bit in shock and wanting make sure you were not just imagining it. Sinbad blushes and nods " Yes (Y/n) that is how I really feel tho I didn't want to reveal it like this I thought originally to do something far more romantic but I guess I let it slip." Sinbad says letting out a small chuckle of embarrassment. "I really do care about you (Y/n) I know it doesn't seem real and crazy given my playboy history I'm not asking for you to completely fall for me yet all am asking for is a chance to be yours and you to be mine. So please (Y/n) will you give me that chance?" Sinbad asks with pleading eyes. You take a deep breath thinking then you smile at him "alright Sin I will give you a chance but know that if you break my trust know that you will get no mercy from me." You say with a small smirk. Sinbad quickly hugs you tightly with a goofy looking smile "THANK YOU
(Y/N) YOU HAVE MY WORD I WILL MAKE YOU THE HAPPIEST PERSON ALIVE!" Sinbad says with confidence.You smile and hug back "I will hold you to that Sin" you say smiling resting your forehead against Sinbad's. Sinbad kisses your lips softly "I love you (Y/n)" he says looking into your eyes. You smile "I love you too Sinbad"
