I'm terrified.
It's been two weeks and he still wouldn't talk to us- much less about the break up.
It's almost like he shut down.Like he was broken.
I should've helped him.
"Jungkook, I'm serious." He insisted.
"Hyung, you're fine. Even if you do like her what's the problem?" I questioned, I was truly curious on why he asked me of all people for advice.
"The problem is that she's too likeable and I'm too.. me." He sighed. "I can't let myself like her, I'll never be able to open up. She only knows idol Taehyung, she doesn't know scared, stressed, worried Taehyung.""What's so wrong about opening up?"
"I don't know I just-" he was cut off before he could finish his sentence.
"Taehyung! Jungkook! We're going on stage in ten minutes, let's go." Namjoon-hyung called.
"We'll talk about this later, okay?" I said, turning to look at the older man sitting next to me. He just gave a small nod before we both rushed to catch up with our leader.
He knew this would happen. He knew, he asked for my help and I didn't give it.
It's all my fault.
"God I should've done something!" I cried. I could feel tears brim my eyes.
"Jungkook? Who are you talking to?"
I turned my head to see Yoongi hyung. His body was turned towards me with his shoulder resting against the door frame.
"How long have you been standing there?" I questioned, rubbing my eyes with the back of my hand.
"You're worried about Taehyung." He stated, changing the subject.
I nodded, my voice caught in my throat.
"He's gonna be fine." He insisted while taking a seat on the office chair to my right.
"Is he? I know he's strong but closing yourself off from everyone- off from your loved ones. That can't be healthy. What if he... what if h-"
"Shut up! He wouldn't do that to himself." Yoongi denied. "He wouldn't do that to us."
"I know just-" I tried to explain myself but he wouldn't listen.
"Taehyung is strong!" He paused, "stronger than we all give him credit for."
We both went silent. Yoongi suddenly got up from his seat, heading to the door. He stopped in his steps looking over his shoulder. I couldn't bring myself to meet his steely gaze.
"You should rest." With that he left.
I let out a deep sigh while placing my head in my shaky hands. Taehyung wasn't the only one breaking.
We all were.
