Izuku's P.O.V.
'The next day?' you'll probably ask. Yeah, well, it was frantic. I was overtaken by basically the whole school.
"Is it true?"
"What did you do?"
"Watch this!"
"Was that really you?"
"Wait!! I don't get what you all are talking about!" I cried out, putting my hands in front of me. Everyone became quieter. A girl came in front of me, holding her phone out. My eyes widened at the video that was playing. Apparently, someone in the group of people was videoing at the time, and made of video from before I ran in, to after I left. I watched the whole video. I then walked to the nearest chair, and sat down. I put my forehead on my hand. I breathed out, not realizing I had been holding it in.
"So did you save him?"
"Was it you?"
"Can I have your autograph?"
I was overtaken by people who were curious and wanted autographs on their things. I didn't know what to make of what was happening. The bell rang, signifying that class was going to start in a couple of minutes.
"Ah! I'm sorry, but I have to get to class!" I cried as I grabbed my bag and ran into my classroom. I tried my best to avoid people who wanted to stop me for questions. I made it to the classroom in a panic. I sat down in my desk and managed to get my things out before the teacher came in. I made sure it looked like I was here for a while, at the least. But the teacher had to ruin the fact I wanted to hide the fight I had yesterday. She called me and Kacchan to the front of the class. I thought I was going to get in trouble, but I didn't.
"Class, I'm sure you've heard about it, but your classmate, Izuku Midoriya here, If it wasn't for him, many bad things would have happened. Your other classmate, Katsuki Bakugo, could have been killed. And the City you live in now could have been more damaged than it is now." The people who didn't know had a sudden admiration for me, and the people who knew about it chatted. Some where even in the crowd yesterday.
Time Skip~Lunchtime
"Hey, I heard that they'll give a presentation about him and his heroism later on today!" Someone said to their friends. I froze. This much for saving a friend? Isn't it a little much?
"I never asked for your help yesterday, Nerd." Kacchan said behind me.
"I know that..."
"Then why'd you help me?" He asked me as he sat on a chair beside me.
"I wanted to help a friend, even if he wouldn't help me. Because...I care about him." I said. I smiled a little while I said that. He turned around to face me, eyes wide and mouth hanging open.
"What? Is it so bad that I care about a childhood friend?" I said, resting my head on my hand.
"But...I've made your life hell for ten years...how can you still care about me even after all these years?" He asked, and I could tell that he felt a little guilty.
"Why should I have a reason to not care about a good friend of mine? Even if he is mean to me for years, he is still precious to me, Kacchan. He is still worth protecting and taking care of." I was doing a full smile now. He turned his head away from me sharply. My eyes widened. I giggled. His ears were dusted rose. He turned just barely to glare at me. But I could clearly see his blush from my angle.
Then he stood up, cussing. Then I noticed that someone was filming us. I ran up to that person and broke the camera. But there was plenty of other people who were filming us at the time, and Kacchan was also breaking cameras.
After we finished our rampage on the cameras, we calmed down, finally. I laughed at how we could be so immature at times. I fell to the ground, still laughing. A bunch of people came and asked me if I was okay, since I was crying and gasping for air. I couldn't talk. When I finally stopped, I said that I was just laughing, really really hard.
Then one of the boys in my class came up to me. His name was Megumu Koyama. His Quirk is called Telekinetic Helix. Many people call him 'Mekoya'. I call him that too, since I don't want to say his real name. Telekintic Helix allows him to get stronger where ever it's on. He can also attract things to him. He needs focus to turn his Quirk on. The more focused he is, the stronger he can get. If he overuses his Quirk, however, hi muscle tissues will tear, so he is aware when he uses his Quirk.[A/N Yes he is from Mob Psycho 100, completely different anime, just wanted to make things interesting *wink wonk* He is also younger]
"You enjoying all the attention?" He mocked. I glared at him. "I wonder who dressed up as you to save someone?" I growled.
"Or maybe you paid someone to do the work for you?" He grinned. I snapped, but hid it. The people who were helping me yelled at him.
"That's too much!"
"Izuku wouldn't do something like that!"
"Midoriya's to innocent to do that type of crap!!"
"Oh, really? If he was innocent, why would he cut a man down to ribbons?" I couldn't keep it in anymore. I stood up and glared deep into his eyes.
"Would you like me to do that to you instead?" I said, venom coating my voice.
"Oh! I'm so~ scared!!" He said while tucking his knees inwards. His 'Followers' laughed as they gathered around us. "I wonder if it would even hurt, since you're so skinny!" He was grinning. That was it. I was past the edge.
I pulled on the string connected to one of the knives as I got into a battle stance. I left my bag open for this type of situation. Several people screeched when I got the knife out. Mekoya turned his Quirk on.
He instantly made it so I was sucked in towards him. I jumped farther away so I took more focus to do it, but he already started sucking me in, so I plummeted towards him with even more velocity instead. He punched me in the gut when I reached him, and I stabbed him in the wrist. He both got pushed backwards, but I went so much farther than him. I hit the ground with a thud. I threw the knife back in my bag when I got sent backwards, so it was hidden when the security came.
When Mekoya got suspended for attacking an unarmed person, I smirked. I waved him goodbye as he was sent to jail for three months. Apparently, no one but the people who were nearby the fight knew that I had a knife. When the security checked me and my bag, they found no weapons, and they reached the conclusion that Mekoya had lied to them about me carrying a weapon. In truth, it was hidden underneath my clothes.
I had found out that I was getting better reaction time, and getting better at concealing and attacking. I have a bigger amount of pride, now.
The thing I wouldn't know however, is that a Disaster would happen later on as I went home.
