Just starting art? Here's a few helpful things.
Learn everything equally.
This may not make sense, but it you focus on drawing one thing, and don't draw everything equally, your proportions will be very strange.
You won't feel comfortable to practice because you know it's not going to be as good as the thing you're good at drawing.
Have someone to practice with.
If you have a set scedule with someone to keep drawing, you can't pull out as easily. You'll improve a lot quicker.
You can give your opinion on what they should improve on, and they could do the same for you.
I'll make a separate chapter about this.
Where to start with stores.
Everyone knows Micheals and Hobby Lobby are a great go to for supplies. I don't have either one of those near me. It's a 30 minute drive to my nearest Micheals and Hobby Lobby.
We do have a Joann Fabrics in our area. These are all great examples for places to shop.
