Right as soon as the plane takes off I fall asleep.

I don't usually go to sleep until around 4 a.m., and also I'm not used to waking up at 6 in the morning.

As I sleep, I dream about back home and what it might be like when we get to Los Angeles, and about other random things.

I'm interrupted in my sleep by Kayley shaking my shoulder telling me that we are about to land. I rub my eyes and nod, then stretch my arms out a little.

As soon as we are able to get off the plane, I gather my things and nudge Kayley, as if to tell her, 'I'm ready when you are'.

Kayley's somewhat used to traveling, or so she tells me. She used to live in Minnesota, as did her cousin we are going to go live with, but she moved to Nevada eight years ago, at about twelve years old, and that's how we met.

As for me, I have always lived in Nevada, and have lived with my parents until I was 18, then I moved to a nearby town to go to collage. Not a year later, both of my parents died in a car crash caused by a drunk driver. I was an only child so I felt lonely, as dumb as it sounds, and me and Kayley became even closer friends.

Once we get off the plane, there are tons of people everywhere, so Kayley grabs my hand to navigate me through the crowd and out into the streets of Los Angeles, which are also crowded but not as much.

Once we get out of the airport, Kayley stands by the curb and waits for a cab, and when one pulls up we manage to get all of our stuff into it. She tell the driver the address and he immediately starts towards it.

Meanwhile, I'm thinking about Kayley's mysterious cousin and his roommates, the people I know almost nothing about. The people I'm going to be living with in less then an hour.

As I have mentioned before, Kayley has never talked about her cousin before. The only thing I know is that he is 21, moved from Minnesota to L.A., and lives here currently with three roommates, and the only reason I know that is because she had to tell me about the house we were moving into.

I don't even know his name. The only reason I can think of to why she doesn't talk about him is that maybe they had a big disagreement in the past or something that led to resentment, but it doesn't seem like she resents him at all so that doesn't fit in either.

Kayley's hand waving in front of my face and her voice brings me back from my thoughts.

"Peyton? Peyton? Hello, anybody home?"

I blink a turn to look at her. "Sorry, did you say something?" I ask her.

"Yes I did. I said, I want to tell you a bit about Con-I mean my cousin. You know, because I don't talk about him often." She starts. I just nod, letting her continue.

"First off, his names Connor. No, not Connor Joice, he doesn't have the same last name as me. Maybe you can guess his last name though? Take what you know about him and put the puzzle pieces together. He lives with three other guys, he's 21, he lives here in L.A., and his first name is Connor." She hints.

I think about it for a second then I get a weird feeling, like lightheaded, because I know who she's talking about.

Can it be true? Could this possibly be real? Or is she just messing with me?

I look at Kayley and her face is serious, and so are her eyes.

My best friends' cousin is the famous YouTuber, Connor Franta.
