come over, i miss you

My phone lit up with that message from Mallory. She missed me? I wondered what happened. I decided to respond quickly.

yeah sure, i'm on my way

I raced around the house, anticipated. What made her upset? I was a little excited that she chose me to be the one that could comfort her.

I changed into an easy outfit, a pair of black joggers and a white t-shirt with my black vans. I swiped a hand through my hair to make it look somewhat put together. I grabbed the keys to my truck and made my way to the door.

"Gray, I'm going somewhere, I'll be back", I called to him from the bottom of the steps.

"Whatever", he yelled back from his room, uninterested.

I sighed and shook my head, walking out the door and into my car.

I parked in Mallory's driveway and knocked on the front door, letting her know I was here. Her mom still wasn't back from her business trip, leaving Mallory all by herself. Her dad left their family when she was young. It's been Mallory and her mom for the longest time.

She came to the door and opened it, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Come in", she sniffled.

I walked in and immediately enveloped her into a hug.

"What happened?" I whispered while stroking her hair.

"It's Grayson", she said into my chest.

"What did he do?" We released from the hug and made our way upstairs, both of us sitting down on her bed.

She then began to tell me how Grayson met up with Charlie and how Charlie confronted him, then how Charlie punched him. She then told me how he came over and they talked, and he left in a huff.

"He's out of control", I breathed out, putting my hands behind my head.

"I also found something else out..." She started, fumbling with her fingers.

"What is it?"

"I like you too, Ethan", she mumbled.

"What? I didn't hear you", I said, trying to contain my excitement.

She laughed, "Don't make me say it again, Ethan", she pushed me.

"I genuinely didn't hear you!" I put my hands up in defense.

"I like you, Ethan", she said louder.

I scooted closer to her.

"You do?" I tucked a piece of hair behind her ear.

"Yes", she breathed out.

I put my index finger under her chin, making her face me.

"I'm so happy to hear that", I connected my lips with hers.

The kiss started off slow and sweet, but became more and more heated as it progressed.

"Wait, is this okay?" I said to her in between kisses.

She nodded into the kiss, making me laugh.

We continued to kiss as we discarded all of our clothes until we were left in our underwear.

I pinned her arms above her head and graciously left kisses all over her body, to let her know she was loved.

"You are so beautiful, Mallory", I said to her as I trailed kisses lower and lower.

Soon, our underwear was left in a pile on the floor. Our bodies were connected, mentally and physically.

There was no one else I would rather share this moment with.

We both came down from our highs and cuddled next to each other in her bed, me assuming the big spoon position. I wrapped my arms around her waist as her back was pressed against my chest.

"That was amazing, Eth", she breathed out.

"It was", I said back to her, leaving small kisses on the back of her neck.

We laid there in a comfortable silence, until she decided to speak up.

"So, I like you, and you like me", she began.

"Yes, that's true", I responded.

"What does that make us?"

At this point, I figured there was no better time than now to ask her this question.

"Would you be my girlfriend, Mallory?"

She shifted her body around to face me, wearing the biggest smile on her face.

"Yes, Ethan", She wrapped her hands around my neck and pulled me in for a soft and gentle kiss. My hands assumed their place on her waist as our mouths moved in sync, the kisses full of love and passion.

Finally, I thought to myself, smiling into the kiss.
