Hello everyone! We bring some exciting news for you! Meraki is currently planning to release our translations at the same time on Wordpress and Wattpad.
Warning: A long note by the translation team is written below, however, please read as it contains important information about the novel too.
Lately, through other translation teams in Meraki, we have found listings of the light novels such as Rebirth and Perfect being uploaded on light novel aggregate websites and on Wattpad. As much as we adore having people loving our translations and trying to save them on another source, unfortunately, there was no clear-cut recognition and disclaimer for mainly, the author and then, the translation team.
As for light novel aggregate websites, I'm sure many other readers of other light novels will know that these websites are a problem since they make a profit out of something that is done out of free will and our own hard work and efforts of many hours put together. Because of this, translators may leave due to being unable to resolve these issues.
This is similar to the problem of manga aggregate sites too. As translation is a grey area, we are not trying to take credit for the work we do. However, we are seeking justice for the author and to maintain the dignity of their published works. This is why we put in our due diligence to ensure we preserve the meaning and nuances of our translations and editing as much as we can.
