Ai & Ren: To: Zero & Mom

Chapter one: Father

Ai's POV

I look out the window, mother, where are you?

I's been about 2 years since Zero turned into dust. Yuki, has been upset ever since then. My brother Ren, and I gave up looking after a year. Finally, my father woke up from his stupid slumber. (No offense)

"Ai! There you are! I've been looking everywhere!" Ren said.
I looked at his with a smirk. He rolled his eyes. "Everywhere but here."

We just laughed.
"What were you doing here anyways?"

"I was wondering where Mom could be."

"To be honest, same here. But if she hasn't told us that means she's okay, right?"
"One place we haven't looked at is the forest. Over by you know, where we were born by." I said pointing over to faraway hills.

Ren nodded. We told Kaname we'd be going over to the forest for "fresh air" and we left.

Once we got there, we started looking, I was going to bring a letter from father but decided she'd be overwhelmed by the news. After almost giving up, we saw a faint cottage. We ran up to it. Home. We crept inside, we heard mother. She was there, she was downstairs.

"Mother?" We both said at the same time.

She looked over and said "Hello!"

"I hear father's woken up!" She said wiping her hands off.

We nodded. We told her everything, from start to finish. She looked as if she could faint at the same time looking like she'd gotten ¥1000.

Ren said it was nice, and he'd feel better. Soon, although something seemed to be off.

"When we first met him, he hugged us, as if he knew who we were."

Sadly, none of this ever happened, since our mother had given her life to rebirth our father as human. She had to make a big sacrifice. But, I regret it, if I knew my father was dumb.
