bryn walks out of calum's car and begins to walk inside the house.
it was pretty big if you ask her, two times bigger than her place. as bryn continued to look around she suddenly froze.
calum chuckled, "it's been a while" bryn nodded. "a long ass while..." she whispered under her breath so no one would be able to hear her.
"come on, let's go talk to them" she heard before being pulled towards where michael was by non other than, calum.
bryn groaned. she didn't prepare herself to talk to him, or well anyone for that matter. "just relax. he doesn't hate you"
"hey mike!" calum exclaimed before hugging the other.
michael leaning in to hug back "aye cal—" but suddenly stopped when he saw a figure behind the other boy.
"bryn." he breathed, giving her a soft smile. "hi." he added. "hi michael." she mumbled but loud enough for him to hear.
"how have you been?" she asked. she was surprised with herself for being able to cough up more than one word.
"i've been good. how are you and, um... parker? but it didn't help answer michael's question as bryn laughed. "parker and i aren't together anymore..." she shook her head.
michael's eyes go big, "oh fuck, i'm sorry... can i ask why?" bryn knitted her eyebrows, "what are you sorry for?" but soon chuckled.
"you didn't know. and the why, is because he cheated and was way to controlling. i've been meaning to apologize by the way... i'm sorry that i picked him over our friendship when you meant way more than he did..."
"nah, it's fine. you didn't know either..." bryn sighed, "i guess you're right. anyways what about you, any spice in the love life?" michael laughed before nodding.
"yeah actually. i met this girl, crystal, she's really nice. maybe you guys could meet one day."
she smiled, "sure! um... also i hope we can go back to being friends. i really miss that."
"of course!" michael answered as he engulfed bryn.
the only thing was she didn't understand why she had to force a smile.
